I am in year 7 and my form teacher is miss Sinnott. She has been off and as well as my form teacher she’s also my art and dt teacher, so I have not been learning anything in art and dt. The sub teacher has just given us drawings to colour in and she herself asked us about landscape and portrait and she said “I didn’t think yous had learned anything at all” so she knows she is lacking. And tell my computer science teacher to stop going on holiday, my cousin has him and he says he’s never in. Mr McGrath BTW. and my drama teacher so just need more teachers in the school that don’t go off for long time

Before this school became Dixons it was an okay school, after Dixons came into it, it was horrific and really poor, the teachers do not care about your mental wellbeing and they blame your actions saying your just a bad child when in reality they don’t know what is going on behind closed doors. Horrific school should get shut down. Only a few teachers really care about you the rest of them see it as bad behaviour and you get called a “naughty kid” and you get suspended for the most ridiculous things ever. Not having a pen etc.

Do NOT let your children go to this school. They do nothing about bullying. I have rang them multiple times about incidents and get fed lies about how they will call you back but never do! This school doesn't know how to safeguard children.

It’s now called dixons academy. The school is absolutely awful my son enjoyed his first 2 years until it was taken over by these. Teachers always off doesn’t get the right education that he and all others should. They throw 30 minutes corrections all over from losing a pencil to anything they wish. You can never get through to talk to someone and they constantly say someone will be back in touch when eventually u do manage to speak to reception and never receive any calls back. Teachers are absolute liars too. I would never put any of my other children in here and will be putting complaints and going to ofstead and the papers if I have too.

Where do I start with this review? I spent 5 years of my life at this school and as soon as I went into year 7 I’ve had nothing but problems most of which were caused by the school itself in year 7 I was badly bullied yet this sad excuse for a learning centre didn’t do a tap to put a stop to it the same year I also broken my wrist and the school refused to phone a member of my family and gave me an ice pack and told me to go back to lesson despite the fact that I was in floods of tears I was in agony and I couldn’t move my right arm at all things calmed down a bit until year 10 when everything got worse my school implemented a terribly thought out line up system where they’d have students line up in their forms extremely closely together and bear in mind that this is just weeks after the lockdowns ended unsurprisingly all year groups partaking in this line up all had covid outbreaks then during the lockdowns themselves there was unsatisfactory online learning which set us up for failure this year when I got my GCSE results I failed every single exam and I was in floods of tears because of this school’s mismanagement of our education this brings me onto my next and final point when I entered year 11 the school underwent a transformation into Dixons fazakerley academy a place which claimed to offer the best education in the city yet they failed us all the rules in that school taken away our individuality and they focused more on taking that away than dealing with bigger problems such as fighting and bullying I heard that a child earlier this year in year 7 ended up fighting his bullies because Dixons didn’t do anything about it despite the fact he’d went to them multiple times so he ended up taking matters into his own hands and then he ended up being excluded rather than Dixons actually finding out why he did it they punished him for standing up for himself and this place also puts exam results before mental health me and many other students at Dixons are suffering from depression and anxiety because they put us under so much pressure stating that exam results were the end all be all overall I find Dixons to be a horrible place that you should never ever send your children to under any circumstances if you value your children’s mental health individuality and you don’t want them to be frightened of a piece of paper then please please never send them here I could say much more if you need more convincing.

I went to that school when I was 14 I am now 16 I wasn’t in that school to long when I was attacked by a group off 10 people from this school I told the teacher mr Gallagher what was going to happen to me when I left the school and he told me not to worry about it and it will be okay I was left with terrible anxiety and PTSD from being attacked and I want justice for this the school failed me and my education and I was warned not to go back to this school for my own safety and let the children who attacked me back in the school with no actions toward them I think it’s disgusting I have never brought myself to ever go back to school because I was scared off everything this school is ran by horrible dragged up kids and the teachers in that school know it absolute poor quality to how they deal with situations it’s horrible I want justice and I want this school to know I wasn’t the one in the wrong and they failed my education 07541257180 is my number And my name is Anthony Dalzell thankyou
