Dangerous and negative environment
If you are considering sending your child here wether you have moved house or are just changing schools please don't. I was at this school for 3 years and in those years I developed severe depression and anxiety. The teachers are useless they don't teach well and don't help when it comes to bullying. I was bullied the entire time I was there and if I tried to tell a teacher they put me into a stupid group before I left I was in at least 5 and missing alot of class time. Worst Secondary School in Scotland
This is by far, the WORST secondary school in the whole of Scotland. No I am not exaggerating. Firstly the teachers are all biased, holding very clear favouritism towards certain pupils and basically holding their hand through all of the course work. Secondly all the pupils who behave well and get their heads down to do the work are all treated very poorly, yet the ones who muck about are treated like royalty! It is so not right! Unsafe environment, teachers unfit for purpose.
Teachers who care more about popularity among misbehaving pupils than they do about pupil safety and welfare. Well behaved, academic students are picked at for the tinniest thing whilst consistent trouble makers and bullies are seemingly rewarded. The entire "Senior Management Team" is frankly a disgrace.

if you don’t draw attention to yourself not are not a priority to the staff, they’re is a very unstable certainty that you will have one teacher to rely on in a subject throughout a whole year as you will commonly end up with a substitute teacher who is inexperienced in the subject. and pupil discipline is appalling, students who often “act out” are praised and rewarded when occasionally behaving however students who do choose to behave receive nothing.
