This school is horrible the food is not worth it please bring a packed lunch the kids are horrible and the hall ways are so dirty the are spider webs in ever class room, dust everywhere and teachers just do not care about you they are sexists, and the education is not ok because most of the time the students are late to the class.

the teachers are horrible and the children are so rude they all fight too much and its like the teachers cant control the kids. the children aren't aloud to go to the toilet when they ask and that's against they're rights. over all just a rubbish school i wouldn't put my kids there. if i could put minus stars i would.

Bell Baxter High School is the definition of what you would refer to as a Snake Pit.

The school has an extremely poor reputation due to its majorly rocky stream of violence on the school grounds and community. Students are treated like in mates and not respected an ounce by any of the teaching staff. A large majority of the teachers are very unsupportive and more or less very impatient and pushy towards our students education and wellbeing. If you are worried about your child’s mental health and wellbeing I would strongly advise you to stay far away from this school as a choice of school for the foreseeable future of your child. This school does not allow your child to attend any of the sport facilities at break or lunch, the school teachers show no concern for the mental health of your child. The school have made it clear to parents and children that they are not allowing any students to use any of their toilet facilities during class time , which is again a breach of a human right, not allowing a developing teen to use the bathroom when needed, and there has been reports from a large majority of the students that attend bell Baxter and they have said that the school are that unorganised that they forget to unlock all toilets during break or lunch intervals which again depriving your child of their human needs and rights. This school is an extreme liability for the deprivation of your child’s mental health and physical health. Bullying at this school is again is another high risk factor that yet has no system or protocols for the safety of our students in place. This school has had a lot of negative reports and bad news coverage in the Press due to students being attacked by other students and the school not taking any precautions and measures to either prevent the attacks or for the responsibility of the breach of your child’s safety. Your child is thrown in a snake pit instantly at this school and their ‘so called’ guidance assistance is very limited and if not useless, leaving your poor children stranded in a place with vultures that can really risk your child’s safety majorly. The last poor factor of this school is they really have no system for your child’s education nor do they supply or recommend any resources to help and assist your child with their tests every term or future education which is again very poor, as a lot of schools now allow you to be able to track your child’s education via an smartphone app as well as let your child access all classroom and useful test study resources online for home study. A very poorly managed school with disorganised long -needed to retire staff, who yet again don’t seem to give a monkeys about your children’s education, they seem to care more about the children’s visits to the toilet more than their own mental health and future education.

i hate bell baxter, im an s4 and i cant wait to leave as soon as i can. one of the rectors told a girl in my year she was dressed like a sl@g. most of the teachers are likely paedos. they introduced a new uniform policy which entails wearing a school hoodie which we are told we arent going to be asked to remove, right after the assembly telling us that my teacher told me to remove it, for "health and safety".

majority of teachers have favourites and only care for you if you act up and dont go to class.
ms cunneen only likes you and makes time for you if you are one of the 'popular people', she even made one a birthday cake.

I have found an SCN card on the floor of a shop. Pupils name on the card.. i rang the school and said clearly.."i have found this SCN card your pupil cant replace,should i send it to you or is it no longer required?" To which came the reply "whaa?"

Repeat. Until i asked why she couldnt assimilate the information,because this could go on all day. She hung up.

My friend gets bullied for being transgender everyday it's a living hell

None of the teachers give a fuck about your mental health and some teachers litro laugh at students when their crying in class, your not aloud to go to the toilet most the the times and you get in trouble for walking out when ur bursting. Also a couple years ago some girl got stabbed on the south playground aswell and people still say our school is good?

Go to the since bathroom and see the problem also the maths department is full of child munchers

As a Student, I think i speak for everyone when i say this is school is Demonical.
lets start of with The English Department. the head (Ms R) uses intimidation as a fear factor to get you to listen. Sometimes she is just downright scary.
Ms Stuart takes off, of Ms R by using intimidation but instead it comes across as complete bitchyness. honestly she is one of the most evil teachers i have ever encountered.
moving on to guidance. the guidance staff are absolutely diabolical. they need to completely rethink their choice of staff for guidance. they handle pupil problems atrociously. for an example one of my mates got his shoes nicked and the whole guidance staff were absolutely useless. they didn't even tell him who stole his shoes.
oh and don't even get me started on the people who run the school. Mr L and Mr H are complete unprofessionals, i don't even think they know what they are doing. they also like to contradict themselves quite a lot. they also enjoy slowly stripping us from our rights. starting by locking the toilets, not allowing us to go the bathroom during class because of, "Vaping and Skiving." and most recently decided to chuck us out of the school during breaks in the freezing cold while they happily sit in their offices drinking tea together and laughing at us.

Some of the teachers are peados that like the s1 girls it is scary I’m s6 and when I was in s1 the headteacher took my childhood away

Personally, when i say this School is Diabolical i speak for everyone. the English Department is Lackluster, the head of english (Mrs R) uses intimidation as a way of getting you to listen. (she also likes to scream at Students for a hobby)

this is a horrible school, my children cane here and came crying to me because they saw a teacher pin a student to the wall. there was blood and shit on the toilet walls and MALE TEACHERS come into the GIRL TOILETS to kick them out for no reason. the fact that one only toilet is open during class time is ridiculous. it just means they get more time out of class walking. horrendous.

Recently under new leadership, this school, in my view and those of other parents, has been failing our children and throwing their basic human rights out of the window.
My son and daughter both go there and are constantly complaining about many new rules being introduced including mobile phone use, toilet access, being late and inside access.
They have said on many occasions that all toilets are locked during class time as the school do not like kids to use them during that time. The school has also said on many occasions that they are open during break and lunch however this is rarely true according to kids. This is ridiculous as when you need to go you need to go we are humans simple as.
Lateness, the school hates it. So have now said to children to collect a late slip on arrival at the office if they are late, just to prove that they are late, wasting more of their learning time which is being cut due to new policies aimed at ‘improving learning’
The newest BS policy is that because of the better weather and number of pupils, they are being made to wait outside in the cold (as it was -1 on the first day of this policy) until the first bell of the day before being allowed in. My daughter admitted to getting hurt in the stampede that occurred because of this and other were pushed or nudged accidentally down a few steps on the main entrance stairs in the mad rush. This is not safe.
The school has other issues aswell, to many to type down here though.

Hoping management in the school will see this and similar comments and emails made by other parents, pupils AND TEACHERS on these issues and get some serious resolving done and reverse these mad in dehumanising policies before something terrible happens which it inevitably will.

Bad school, makes Madras look good. Half of the teachers care more about the one way system than our education. The teachers think when they have a S2 class it's a free holiday. Sexual harassment cases get ignored as well as bullying. People use deodorant cans as hand grenades and guidance don't care about peoples mental health.school is overrun with vapers and chavs.
