Flying start is not there to help you. The staff that can be quite rude. They claim to try and help you but will ring social service on you every opportunity they get. They will try to take your child away from you not help you keep your child and give you time off for two and a half hours a day. If your child doesn't attend for one week, they remove your child off the register. This has got to be the worst school I've ever known. They will strip your child if they are non-verbal to look for any signs of marks on their bodies. Even though there are none they will still report you to social services. This has happened to my child, as he came back with clothes on the wrong way round. When the child comes back home with bruises from the school, they will ask you to sign a piece of paper saying that the child fell, even though there's no evidence. This has happened to my child on several occasions. My child cannot even hold a pencil or crayon in his hand. They have not attempted to help him in any way. They will try to befriend you, but it's all lies. It's a trap to get you reported to social services, even if you haven't done anything wrong. My child can do numbers 1 to 20 and back down to 1, full alphabet A to Z but this school claims he can't even count to 10!!! Teachers have no effort in helping the children. My son did enjoy being with one particular teacher, she did seem nice and never offended me. At least at home I am trying my best to homeschool him due to the fact that this school has done nothing to help my son. At home he's trying to write the alphabet with me. It may not be going great at the moment however he is trying to hold the pen. Unlike this school who did not help him. They even allowed two children to leave but made me wait over 30 minutes outside with my back issue. They knew I suffered with my back and yet made me stand there for over 30 minutes, causing more pain. Don't believe anything they respond to on here because they will only defend the school.
