Appalling School.
This is a dreadful school. My grand daughter and daughter have been failed on many levels by the school. At a meeting a female teacher actually stated to my grand daughter that 'all of her friends were thriving why aren't you' my grand daughter was crying. Why do teachers at this school make assumptions about a child that are false? Poor practice dreadful behaviours displayed by a certain female teacher. Would not recommend this school
I was a pupil at this school and my experience is not good at all, in my 5 years of being here i was locked in rooms and told i was an embarrassment for having special learning difficulties and staff would laugh at me and one member of staff said “you belong in the pru” i was dis included from events such as prom and the leaver day as i have special learning needs One teacher who i will not name but she once chased me around with no shoes, and another member of staff pulled my chair when i was...

Brecon High School Is A Joke.
This school is an honest joke. The teachers don't know what they're doing and would rather complain about the way you look than actually teaching you something useful. the school took over a year to find a new teacher for set 3 but when a set 1 teacher leaves they have one instantly. The supplies are also useless they let the kids mess around and get nothing done. There is also fights every other week that never get resolved to the point I have to go to the school because of it. Abusoloty terrible do not join
They care more about looks and not about their mental healths. They have cameras pointing in the toilet and they lockk them when they feel like it, people who have special toilet needs the teachers dont care. When you get bullied they dont do anything and they just let it happen. they say they help students with mental health but they make it so much worse. dont join this school it will be the worse decision of your life. the teachers dont even know what they are doing half the time they are a joke.

Brecon high lack of a lot of things
I am a student at this school and in my years I have seen a lot of things to improve on. I’m going to emphasise on one of the things which is lack of qualified teachers for the subject they teach one teacher teaches four different subjects which ich I think is only qualified at two or three of them. Parents and students have complained about one of the teachers in this school who will be anonymous, The school has received hundreds of reports and complaints of unacceptable behaviour from the teacher yet is still teaching their and nothing has been done about it. On the other hand the reward system is amazing and their is a lot of outdoor space including a Astro turf which students can enjoy on their day on the rota , Brecon high also has a great range of sport opportunities like netball rounders cricket swimming and rugby fixtures and tournaments they also have house games we’re you can support your house to win that year . So over all this school is not great but is not the worst school in the world .

Worst School Ever!!!
This is one of the worst schools in the world, it should not be open! Teachers can NOT control the kids. Teachers also care more about looks then education, they give out negatives without reason!

verbal bullying is accepted and not dealt with appropriately. some teachers are great others leave a lot to be desired.

Why does it even exist still
Honestly idk how it’s still open, teachers are awful, headteacher is exceptionally awful, they all care more ab me having a piece of metal in my nose than if I tried to unalive myself right in front of them. They deserve to be shut down honest to god. The sixth form is a complete joke and the school don’t even know what they’re doing, takes them 2 months to even tell us an uodate ab smth ( the updates usually “I’m not sure”)

Mediocrity
School is average at best, educationally it's awful, sets seem to be placed via roulette and teachers are off more often than not, go anywhere else.

Current pupil review
Previously the school has struggled, but they have made a brand new building, got lots of new experienced members of staff in and ye numbers have gotten a lot better
