Bad management don't listen to staff

Great school, our child has never been happier and it's so reassuring to have a school that understands their needs.

I am happy to send my child to this school.The staff care deeply for all the children at the school and have taken the best of care of my child who has been failed badly by the state system which isn't fit for purpose. There are shortcomings ,however,these are commonplace at most school thesedays. There have been a number of management changes over the years and the current management are doing their very best to help stabilize the school.They need the chance to make their plans work.I'm very happy to recommend this school to other parents.

Craig Y Parc has faced challenges over the last few years, as have all schools. Does it need improvement? Yes. Periodic staffing issues? Yes, as all schools in the region face. Does communication need improvement, yes. Do the staff do their absolute best to provide for the kids, do they care? Absolutely. Our child has made good progress, far better than under state schooling, which is the key point.

Craig Y Parc was the best additional needs school in Wales, unfortunately standards have slipped and it’s now a school which are unable to attract and obtain staff. The management team have ruined this school Please check all AN schools for your children this is definitely no longer the best, look at Estyn reports and ask current parents
