Elfed High School

this school is so so bad they handle bullying and harassment very poorly and are not so considerate to students who are depressed or struggle with anxiety or other mental issues/health problems they do offer alternative previsions Although the teachers in these places that are a substitute to mainstream lessons base,futures, aspirations (now closed) hafan treat the students very horribly and not so considerate of mental health unless you are quiet and don’t say anything and if you do you apparently do not have anxiety and I’m sure you would think some pepole who are suicidal still speak and get shutted down and shouted at for finally feeling comfortable to communicate if you walk through these school corridors you will most likely see multiple students having mental breakdowns/ crying and getting shouted at or screamed at by the teachers but im sure the internet wouldn’t know this because everyone is forced to act perfect students with asd/autism/adhd ect. Are just told to “try harder” even through they have expressed there about to kicked out of there house and are shaking to even enter a class and get told there not trying and punished for there mental health issues and neurodevelopment disorders miss randerson is the futures teacher and she is made out to be a nice and loving person but in reality she chooses favourites and chooses boys over girls girls are very overworked and tend to feel overwhelmed and forced to work more than mainstream are because they are struggling mr jones disrespects how children think and disregards how they are feeling and when u are having a mental breakdown he will forcefully block you from moving away and pull your bag and make you go into lesson where you will get verbally harassed by students they like to brag about pastoral and there meant to be there to help you and if you have a breakdown they will tell you that you have to try harder and go back to lesson there main focus is always safeguarding it’s always about that even though students have problems and disregard peoples feelings and needs and ignores pepole with anxiety and depression to focus on safeguarding issues. DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE PLEASE!!!

Where do I start.
Ok let's start with the head teacher locks himself in his office doesn't answer his emails/ phone calls.
You try and make contact to the main office. I think they are asleep in there feet up doing everything bar what they should be doing.passing on concerns to teachers who you wish to have dialogue with is what they should do but no all's you get is ye ye ye ok bye.
Next thing I want to talk about is their policy's on bullying etc. They haven't got a pot of glue how to deal with it in the slightest their heads are full of jelly when any child needs help in there. They are just left to deal with it on their own with no support just a( god what do you want a hug just man up they say put ya big girl knickers on.) All I think it's a great school if you want your child to be scarred for life.

Absolute shocking school don't come here

Wonderful school, helped me when I joined in Year 7. Excellent lessons, and are taking precautions due to this pandemic and the new release of Omicron Variant

i dont like this school, they say they are a no tolerance school but that’s just a cover up they don’t do anything about bullying and if you are depressed or struggling with anything the help is minimal
