Worst headteacher
Absolutely horrendous since the change of headteacher. She is condescending, unreasonable and unwilling to listen to anything that does not follow her own opinion. If the child is deemed 'easy' then they'll be fine. Anything more and they'll be hung, drawn and quartered before even being spoken to. Such a shame as the school otherwise is pretty positive
I hate it
This school is hopeless when it comes to bullying . I'm in year 10 and I'm different from everyone else and I get harassed for it . This school doesn't help with your classes only a few teachers. They give an unreasonable amount of detentions I've had 3 after school detentions in a row about things that happened in year 7. Please try to go to a different school if you can. They also don't give a fuck about your mental health only your attention
Inconsiderate school
Although most teachers take the lessons seriously, they all seem to have an issue with treating students with respect and as an equal. There is more concern over behaviour than education. There is more concern with controlling what girls wear and how long boys' hair is, than the wellbeing of the students. I did earn good grades but only through pure perseverance. There were only 1 or 2 teachers there that honestly cared for the students enough to help them through their mental struggles, home life, bullying and general school issues. My younger siblings attend there and are seriously considering moving schools.
Life saver
I'm in Year 9 so far, and it has quite literally saved my life. My home, and my chosen family is what I live for. And this is it. They teach us well and care for us all. I love it.
Won't survive without it
I used to hate it, but that was only because I thought everyone was against me, but I was turning them against me. I love it and I always have done, the teachers are like family the students are either your freinds or you have beef with them, and that's fun. I don't wanna leave, because I wont be able to survive without certain members of staff. I just think they're my safety net.
