My child goes there and he has been called racial slurs like the n word and I think this hazlehead academy is a bad school don’t send your kids here

i went here for a few years and all i can take away from it is that it’s a prison disguised as a school. this shithole should have a spot at number 1 for the worst places in the world. throughout my time here i experienced bad teaching, rude students, and the smell of fresh shit in the toilets. the teachers don’t care about students mental health at all, if you go to them for help, they will either shrug it off or tell you that they will set you up with a counseller. if you’re “lucky” you will actually be set up to meet a counseller, but majority of the time it never happens. as well as not caring about students mental health, teachers never do anything about bullying. from my experience, (as someone who was bullied quite a bit by the kids in this school) if you’re being bullied or made fun of in class, teachers will just tell them to stop and never give the pupils a real consequence for their actions, sometimes they’ll just ignore what’s happening. the students here are genuinely horrible human beings, sure some may say that “they’re just teenagers” but a lot of teenagers don’t act like that? im autistic and this meant that i was teased for quite a lot of things. i masked at school all the time, but people still found ways to make fun of me due to me being quiet and not having many friends, especially in the class i was in. the pupils here really don’t care about what they say and how it may affect people. i’ve heard people been bullied for how they look, slurs, and just other bullying behaviours. the school looks rubbish outside and inside, it honestly deserves to be knocked down. the classrooms are unclean and the science corridors always have a strange smell to them, no clue what it is. the windows have been cracked a few times, but they do normally get fixed. the school is also low on supplies, so if you forget to bring a pencil be prepared to get yelled at and given a lecture. this school, teachers, students and just the atmosphere of it honestly ruined my mental health. im glad i left when i did. if you genuinely care about your child’s mental health you shouldn’t send them to this place, its fucking vile.

One of the teachers are literally a porn star and one of the P.E teachers are a pedo. I don't know about you but I don't think that's a very good line up of staff. ALSO THE BULLYING HERE IS SO BAD ITS NEARLY PUSHED MULTIPLE OF MY FRIENDS TO SUICIDE LIKE SORT THIS OUT PLEASE-

The other reviews were right. This school is honestly a horrible place. The bullying is so bad it drove my friend to commit suicide after a few weeks of them staying off school. I hate it here. Please don't send your children here.

nah like genuinely this place is so bad like idk why anyone would want to go here like the students are bad too like everything about this place is………..POOPY liek idk the teachers are bum too like if ur gonna teach do it correctly(maijly directed to like…the hesdtecahers or whatever tehyre called) i canr wait to leave this place. this school is horrible my daughter came home from school telling me the teachers wouldn’t let her go to the bathroom to change her pad not to mention the pe teacher who wouldn’t let her friends hide her when she had to pull her skirt down but he was allowed to wait with her.this school does not care about the children’s mental health

It is an average school it looks pretty rubbish and old and yes it is old but it’s got some AMAZING teachers and some not so good ones but my point is it’s abs average school in a relatively nice area near shops and stuff so ye it’s quite nice.
