Reflecting
I was a student from 2001-2007 I am still in therapy from the nonsensical policies from this dump. Ostracised and belittled throughout any time I escalated anything the issue was my top button and uniform wasn't done 'correctly" My parents were abusive alcoholics but If the money came into hutchie who cares eh? This is a school that will celebrate your kid successes as it's own and blame the parents for Thier failures Am institution that's a CON in block capitals

Poor standard
Our older child had a hard time at Hutchesons for few years. Now that we left this institution, we can reflect on this. Teachers were biased towards their favourite parents and provided special focus on those students. Bullying was rife amongst students. It was a race and class division in the school. Studies were not great and increasingly school strikes and teachers becoming unhappy were the discussion. Fortunately, we left. Sadly lost a lot of money for very little value.

Saved my life
Hutchesons is better than average. Teachers at that school are the ones the write the textbooks all the Scottish schools are using. (Clarke, Kilday, Uprichard) I didn't get to stay for sixth year. Family ran out of money so ... St. Ninian's it was...

Change needed
An inadequate private school experience - throughout my years at the school I have seen multiple instances of unfair treatment of both students and teachers within the school. The current headteacher of the secondary school has been described as making pupils feel uncomfortable within the school, and has failed to acknowledge serious issues within the school. Very selective when dealing with altercations and pastoral system has constantly failed pupils.
