But, I can’t ignore how much I was bullied. Girls like to be covert about it which is honestly worse, I would appreciate verbal abuse to my face straight up. We are talking about exclusion, othering, name calling, hitting- a girl who I literally didn’t do ANYTHING to hit me in the face with a ball! And another girl broke my glasses!!
And also, got cyberbullied to the point of it being highly traumatic. To walk into school with such shame and my head down low with the teachers not doing shit about it every day for months really did numbers on how I see myself. Even years later the anxiety of going outside and looking around not being able to relax because of the irrational fear of seeing them. Or, because of me being blamed for the bullying and false rumours were spread about what took place the extreme shame I felt when talking to people who go or parents as if they “knew”.
Two of the main perpetrators go to my sixth form now, and I couldn’t look them in the eyes without shaking and going quiet . 4 years later and it’s still affecting me so much I need help lmaooo 🤣🤣🤣
