Failure of the system
I had a meeting last year to enroll my son in Leith Academy. I was told that someone would be in touch. I've never heard a thing. My son has now been out of school for a year and I've still had no reply after several attempts to contact the school. All I get is we will get someone to call you back. Absolute joke.

Starvation
School cafeteria made me starve after waiting 20 minutes in line for my food, they said I didnt have enough money for a pizza slice which costs around a pound.. I had 5 pound.

Mean p.e teachers
I was in p.e and my friend took my phone and the teacher instead of telling me to put it away she snatched it and when I got it back it was all scratched the teacher was miss Grant and honestly she made me lose all respect in herself

bad school
Leith academy is a really bad school there is lots of bullying not just by boys but girls as well I have been bullied since I went there the teachers do absolutely nothing about it my advice don't send your kids here.

Not a good thing to say
Terrible. Got some male teachers that rub your thighs and back which seems very inappropriate. Also poor mental health support. While reaching out for help I was welcomed by “I don’t know what I should say to you” then when I eventually stopped going to school because of my mental health was not contacted once despite asking for help for years. Eventually me stopping going to school resulted in me becoming a drop out and I think this could have been easily avoided if the school Cared abit more f...

I'd say poor
This school is quite poor , for the past 4 and a half months I have been getting bullied , threatened and most of the teachers I have spoke to haven't done much about it at all and it's still going on right now .

bad school
leith academy is a bad school, the teachers don’t teach that much. leith is way behind most other schools and causes most of their pupils fonfail

Leith academy review
Leith academy has a huge creative department and the opportunities are plenty, the teachers are usually really good in pretty much all subjects, we have a safe space for lgbtqia+ students, an Eco Council, equality ambassadors and a pupil Council.

Could be better
Could do with more useful mental health awareness and a better system but otherwise not bad. Someone pulled a knife on me at school
