This school is terrible
Horrible they don’t care about your mental they care more about ur uniform and behaviour u don’t get supports less u meet the “requirements” the bullying is horrendous the kids are mean and the teachers are even meaner there is about 3 good teachers

Horrible
Trash. Just trash. If you want mental health issues, and you want to lose the will to live then this is the perfect place for you!! The head of maths yells at you for asking a question, the teachers don’t care about your mental health apart from 1 or 2. They care more about uniform than the students. This one business teacher always yells at you for small things. Even if you make a mistake she yells in your face and sends you to another classroom.

Not great
very very few teachers actually listen and consider your mental health, the headteacher i have found very much only cares about the way others view the school and it’s reputation uniform wise rather than actually asking the pupils for their opinions on things

How I was treated at mintlaw academy
Bad, I am being excluded from group work in classes for my hair colour and ethnicity, when I mentioned it to the teachers they thought I was joking and many told me to ‘grow up’. I was being tested for learning disabilities and the lack of support was unbelievable.

My review of mintlaw academy
The school building in general was very outdated and poor, there was mould on the ceiling and the paint was coming off the walls. Some of the teachers were very two faced when it came to parents evening. Overall my education from there was ok but I feel that it could of been better.
