Rhynie School

Throight my primary school years I really enjoyed attending this school, up until the last couple of years when obviously covid kicked in and we resorted to home learning. The curriculum throughout all 7 years is great. The food was usually nice. And most staff members for friendly. However, i feel the teachers and other staff could have done better when it came to bullying. I was bullied really badly in primary school, especially in the earlier years, and I felt that teachers never listened to what I said. I now feel it may have been because I was not as academically inclined as those who picked on me. If I got back at a bully, for example I slapped someone, but as an accidental reflex. The girl I slapped was pulling on the neck of my jumper and was effectively strangling me, so I hit her to get her off of me. The staff were not listening to me amd I got into trouble because she was just "playing around". We would've been around 6 or 7 at the time. So I do really think the rhynie school staff could improve how they deal with bullying.
