Should of been shut down many years ago failed by this school
Former pupil from the 1980,s disgusting school where teachers and care staff sexually assaulted children abused children bullied children neglected children I don’t know how this place is still open tbh
Starleyhall - Not a happy place.
As a former employee, I had heard about Starleyhall having a chequared past.
With a12 years experience working as a Residential Child care worker - before starting an 8 month spell working there.
I started with 3 other new staff members.
After two months both colleagues had both resigned two months working.
I left just after only 6 months.
The standard of childcare at Starleyhall is quite frankly disgraceful.
A very toxic atmosphere amoungst the staff team.
Vulnerable young people in care deserve better.
Frankly, think twice before applying for a future vacancies at this establishment.
Unfortunately the view, looking out towards Edinburgh and the river Forth, is really the only positive I can think of.

Sadly this was also the experience of many vulnerable children sent to Starley Hall, who were not believed by the Justice System.
Worst school ever
Wouldn't recommend any child go to this school I was physically mentally and emotionally abused man handled by grown men sent home to my parents with black eyes bruised body and these cowedly men claiming self defence I was diagnosed with PTSD because my child hood was so dramatic at the time I spent their
