I started alderman white in year 7 and I was struggling very bad with mental health and I spoke to staff and they didn’t listen one but and couldn’t give two shits had many meetings with my parents and they didn’t do anything to help me didn’t explain anything to help me with work and when asked how to do something was told off for not listening when I was

Shit school no cap take homophobia more seriously then racism, care about uniform more then mental health
Focus on mental health
It’s pretty alright from an outside perspective but as a former student it was pretty bad. The mental health system is horrible , they only believe you or care if outside authorities get involved, and they shelter a lot of it. A lot of teachers don’t understand the concept of mental health and will just push you and not even try to understand. But apart from that I guess from a teaching standard, it’s alright though I think mental health should be prioritised as if your mental health is bad so will the work you do.
School review
The twins moved from one school in Yr 7 to come to Alderman white we have not looked back since and neither have the children its the best decision I ever made as a parent and so proud of what the twins have achieved since attending this school and have no doubt they will continue to grow into respectful young adults for when they leave school i trust the school 100 percent with the twins

1) they care more about uniform than mental health or bullying
2) when i was getting bullied they did nothing apart from having a word with said student. (which didn’t work btw)
3) some teachers were fine, others need to learn how to actually speak to and understand children when they are in the wrong.
4) getting in trouble because i lost my pen and didn’t have one???
5) i was falsely accused of littering on the field just because i was with the people who did it (they saw that it wasn’t me) yet only me & 1 other person got in trouble and the actual people who did it got away. (punishment was not being allowed to go to that part of the field)
6) my said teacher in year 10 or 11 accused me of shouting at her for not understanding my homework, when i did not shout at all, in fact i didn’t speak
