avoid, especially if you / your child has allergies
I would not recommend this pre-school to my worst enemy, very unprofessional and the owner / manager is very opinionated.
If there are any issues between your child and another you are not allowed to state the other child's name , how are issues supposed to be resolved?
any information regarding activities etc. are given on scraps of paper even though email addresses were supplied, activity dates were changed without ensuring all parents were informed.
If you or your child have allergies then it would be dangerous for your child to attend this pre-school, my partner has severe nut allergies and we were assured that the business was nut free, on 7 occasions nuts or contaminated items were given to our daughter either to eat or to use in art and craft.
On the final day parents of the children graduating were given boxes of chocolates which were nuts in chocolate, not only was my partner allergic but also one of the children.
When I mentioned this the owner, who is also lead safeguarder, said it was ok because the nuts were encased in chocolate, obviously not the ones that one of the parents was eating.
I will be reporting this school to environmental health, Buckinghamshire Council and Ofsted.
It is not a nice setting to be at and have moved to a more nurturing setting. It is very much the managers setting the staff do not get a say on the operations of the nursery, very outdated and old toys furniture everything. It is not welcoming what so ever. Children are very constricted on the activities they are allowed to play.
