I would like to initially mention that I've noticed an overwhelming amount of positive reviews that have all been written as of recent, I would like to assume those are written by teachers as I can absolutely not fathom why a single student would put genuine effort into a positive review regarding this school.
I am a former student who attended this school and absolutely HATED it. If you are a parent of a child who you know is quite timid or perhaps even neurodivergent and are considering sending to this school.. PLEASE read this as I absolutely urge you not to go through with it. I unfortunately fell into this category of being a perfect target for bullies and dealing with inpatient teachers. I would constantly harassed in class or outside of class, I genuinely never got a breather and no backup for this whatsoever. I honestly felt constantly uneasy within the school environment and I felt ABSOLUTELY anxious even attending, I felt constantly inferior around my classmates as they were merely just scum would constantly assert themselves over me.
When anyone ever attempted to reach out to teachers in regards to my concerns they were ignorant and just completely dismiss it. The teachers quite frankly do not put any of your feelings into consideration whatsoever in regards to mental health and will first and foremost prioritize students who make a poor name for themselves. They will allow you to get bullied and issue no sort of consequences whatsoever towards the perpetrator. The only support I had in regards to my case was ELSA (which I will forever appreciate) but when they would pass on my concerns to staff with higher authority they would not do anything to further accommodate me. I honestly doubt they took my mental health into consideration whatsoever and it genuinely would complicate things further as this me feeling utterly hopeless. Alongside this, it caused me to become constantly consoled by the kind-hearted lady in charge of ELSA, who was very patient and sympathetic towards me despite myself probably being a burden. My parents would not also fathom why nothing was being done about my ongoing issues.
However, I will admit, some of the teachers I had to help me throughout my GCSEs were very patient with me and managed to pick up on the fact that I processed subjects within my own pace, they were often able to help pick me up on my feet. I genuinely appreciate their support and If it wasn't for them I'm not quite sure I would've received the GCSE grades that I currently have. I would namedrop them but I would assume that isn't permitted, I hope they'll be able to work out who they are amongst themselves and know that I will forever appreciate the support they provided me with. However, a good majority of the teachers however are quite intimidating and made me feel quite uneasy, I could never really fathom as to why they would be so unreasonably cruel and snarky especially when I had done nothing to set them off. They just all seemingly didn't have the time of day to provide me with the support I needed as I typically took a lot longer to process things, alongside getting sidetracked very easily. As well as this, I typically have always had trouble with concentration as I unwillingly lose focus, I later found out that this had been labeled as a note within my pupil passport as just essentially me being purposefully incompitent as if I had any control over it whatsoever.
Also, in regards to the education itself, teachers absolutely cannot control their classrooms. Especially within the lower math sets, the class is basically able to do whatever they want and get away with it. This was also a major problem within DT and this severely damaged my final GCSE DT grade. Teachers generally will also care more if you have your phone out, dodgy uniform or anything on similar grounds in comparison to anything else. I was assaulted in broad daylight by a student, in a public area and somehow no teachers caught wind of it. Was the person who ever commit the offence scolded even after I had reported it? No. Absolutely disgusting.
Honestly I could write an overwhelming amount more but I would not want to waste my time of day lingering over this horrid school any longer.
TLDR;; If you don't want to get bullied, alongside deal with burden of having to tolerate intimidating, careless teachers who also happen to have a lack of consideration in regards to support (in terms of mental health).. you're better off elsewhere!! Hope this helps :D

Shit school i honestly cant lie
This school is bad like really bad. They don't help with bullying and only care about education, when they do and 'try' and handle things they put you in a room with the bully and tell you to talk it out with each other, knowing that after the little talk they will still do it or make it worse after the chat. The toilets are always vandalised, talking about how they want to die, what do you think of her/him and so on. I've asked for help so many times from teachers and they did nothing at all.

other students don’t seem to understand the concept of leaving people alone - constantly called fat to the point i started starving myself even though i wasn’t overweight. need to learn that “anti bullying” assemblies are not enough. education quality okay, some teachers are great, others distinctly average with a few assholes. as long as you can fend for yourself, come here; otherwise i can’t recommend as the other kids here are brutal.
