They give detentions for no reason and have stupid rules And they act they are a good school because of Ofsted but they are the worst ark school ever and have the least amount of trips

Quite good school, I went to Ark Boulton for rehearsal once and the building is kind of old like my primary school. The teacher was nice to me, the children was nice too. It is kind of weird if they have forms like 11 Detemination

school gives 3 hr detentions s and if you miss one you go to Saturday school don't send your kids here is a bad school kids get pushed by teachers only 10min break and only 25min lunch kids smoke non stop

Very bad school kids smoke right outside the school they fight push each other around it’s a very busy road they could get knocked over by cars they even run through moving traffic they throw litter even food all over the roads and the worse thing of all they even kick and chase stray cats I’m a animal lover and that breaks my heart to see that I sent a email to school regarding this few months ago but never got any reply and today I seen a girl chase a cat in to a busy road 😔 you will never see any staff at the gates I wouldn’t recommend this school to any parent

this school is bad with handling some problems . my son got in trouble for something he didnt do. furthermore,once some boys banged the toilets door and saw his private. also, there are many fights and rumors .other than that the schools staff are fine.
Shambolic
No respect for the children. The school is run like an army camp. no room for expression or individuality. Everyone is encouraged to be the same. By far the worst school in the area. They treat children like primary school kids making them line up in the playground weather its freezing cold or boiling hot.

They're also burning many students out especially when saying they "do not" even though setting many homework every day WITHOUT telling classes expecting them to do it and setting many homework due on the same day basically handing out detentions for free and the amount of homework is insane for a 5 hour period between school and home.
Behaviour is also super bad as bullying is common across the whole school with teachers doing nothing besides being bystanders and helping the oppressor due to their "mentality" not the victim such as putting the victim into isolation away from friends and classes and putting the oppressor into fun activities to help. It shows how this school is biased towards certain people not committing to an equal community.
Also food cantine is bad back in 2022 they gave out iced chicken tikka sandwiches being aware of this they still gave it out and when students felt sick in lesson they blamed it on a virus. Also again it happened in 2025 when the food was not cooked properly giving students food poisoning.
My opinion is that Ofsted should come back in as a "secret" person making the school not know they are really Ofsted showing how this "good" school is bad and how they only change up when important national individuals visit.
Please DO NOT send your child here even if its the closest one, it is not worth it.
