School being too strict
Just too strict i remember when I was in Astrea academy i used to get in so much trouble over little things like talking in corridors sitting in wrong seats at lunch this made me hate school when the school is to strict it puts you in cycle for example talking on corridors 30min detention than not attending detention because it unreasonable than going to go rs if you do small thing you get DL 1 DL2 DL3 just bad behaviour policy how do you expect a y7 at the time to follow all these rules but...

As a parent, I was extremely disappointed with my child’s experience at this sixth form. I sent my child to this school expecting a supportive environment where they would be treated with respect and encouraged to become more independent. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I sent my child to this school expecting them to receive a good education and feel safe and supported, but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed and eventually decided to leave. The constant control, excessive pressure and strict rules had a negative impact on their wellbeing. Things such as forcing students to put their hands up felt unnecessary and humiliating. The dinner situation was also concerning, with limited food, overcrowding and hygiene issues. Some teachers seemed to spend more time shouting than teaching, while bullying and serious concerns did not always feel properly addressed. The sixth form was particularly disappointing, with an overly controlling atmosphere and staff who could be rude and unapproachable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and leaving was the right decision for my child.

Excellent
I must say Astrea academy primary sheffield that you are really doing a great job. You give attention to each child and make sure that each child in your class is able to learn. Really appreciable and very hopeful that together we will make this another successful year for our children. Teaching staff is very friendly and supportive.
