Riot needed at place
The school needs to kill themselves as I get in trouble over the stupidest thing so if anybody sees this please for the love of God start a riot or some shit as I too am one of the many students who contemplate laife

I’m a year 9 and I absolutely hate it there I never wanna go and I always have mental break downs , the teachers are always yelling at me and one of the Swo’s Rachel told me that I am not smart enough for top set science all bc I had a text book with me whilst I was doing a test even tho the teacher gave it to me , before I went that school I was a good student and now I rarely even want to go because I am to drained to even want to get t out of bed ,the school system is sexist especially to girls (no offence boys) but girls can’t wear any type of shorts because it distracts the boys or male teachers and we have to have our skirts at knee length which is horrible so if you plan on sending your kids here DON’T DO IT

This skl is the worst skl in Leicester. the teachers can’t teach especially my old science teacher miss W she can’t teach at all. The x and y band ting is stupid since yu can’t even see your mates half of the time and barely and lessons with them and at lunch time you get forced to stay inside which is pathetic and we have lunch at different time like years. Honestly so bad please don’t go here for your sake

do not recommend contemplated suicide many times because of the draconian measures the school applies even though it isn’t even a really good school we don’t get taught anything useful and even if you did revision at home you still wouldn’t be able to get a good mark.the teachers pretend to be supportive but if a student is being blatantly homophobic or racist the teachers will act like the pupil was just in a ‘silly’ mood like....? the ‘SWOS’ are meant to be supportive and ppl students can talk to but no one can trust them. the amount of scandals that have happened in the school is off the charts such as fires in the girls bathroom? and no teachers even mentioned it.
Good school
It’s very good. The staff are lovely, supportive and they really do help you when you need it. The students are really great and I recommend any person to go there.
Online school
Can be good, can be bad, they’ve not done much during this COVID, during the online calls when I can’t see or hear they do nothing about it

Since Fiona Laywood has become headteacher, the school has now become more discriminative and so bias towards those who are not british white.
Don't get me wrong the school is very multicultural, kids are great! But the headteacher does not ignore colour. If students of different cultures/ ethnic groups were to do something british white students did, the whites are still perfect in her eyes and deserve no punishment but on the other hand the people with different ethnicity, they've committed murder.
Some staff are great, some just suck up to Mrs Laywood and follow her ways. And believe me, theres always favourite students. Majority of the time these students are british white, if not then it's because their parents are close with the school.
You should also see how receptionist treat those who are not very fluent in english. The receptionist have been great to me and are very nice to me I wont lie however I just find it so rude that they get frustrated immediately when somebody who isn't very fluent attempts to communicate with them. I get it's not easy but they shove them off and get mad at them and I find that disrespectful and rude.
Don't send your kids here. Try Castle Mead or Beaumont Leys school. Babington is not worth it.
