Awful
Absolutely awful awful nursery, please don't send your child here if you are a working parent, it's just not worth it. The amount of times I was called to pick my daughter up because she was ill was unbelievable, when I got there to pick her up there was nothing wrong, including a rash that the owner told me had disappeared, this rash was one tiny spot on her hand, when I complained I didn't get a response. I opted to have no pictures on social media only to find a picture of my child on their Facebook page. Staff turnover was ridiculous and the new manager before I finally took my daughter out was awful. I couldn't regret sending her there anymore, she didn't want to go in most days, would cling to me and cry, even though she had been there a year. Many times I'd arrive and they'd be watching an ipad or her nappy would be soiled that had caused a rash because it hadn't been changed in so long.

This review is about the Altrincham branch, as it won’t actually let me write a review selecting that location.. I believe this is because they know how disgusting they are.
Firstly, they failed their most recent OFSTED which says it all. After myself and other employees having to make multiple complaints.
I never leave reviews anywhere but as a MOTHER, I need too.
I worked at banana moon Altrincham for 2 months, 2 months too long!! My daughter also attended.
I made multiple complaints because staff were not changing my daughters nappy, but would lie on the parent app saying it had been changed.
My daughter was coming home with soiled nappy stuck to her and sore blistered skin!!
I KNEW they weren’t changing it because after it happened once, I began to mark my daughters nappy when I changed her before nursery and guess what?! She was coming home in the same nappy that I had marked in the morning.
The staff allowed my daughter to attend nursery when she was unwell because they didn’t want me to stay off with her, because they were completely understaffed.
Agency staff were in almost every single day, never a familiar face for the children as staff always left or it was temporary agency.
Meal times were almost never ever on time!! Because staff were too busy having a laugh and joke in the kitchen. There was also an occasion where garlic bread was served frozen in the middle to the babies.
On one occasion my daughter was extremely unwell and had to stay home, I rang round all my family at 5am in the morning to get somebody to care for her so that I could still attend work, I didn’t receive a thankyou.. nothing.
Later that day my partner had to ring my work because of how upset and poorly my daughter was for me to come home to look after her. The owner / director said to my partner over the phone “well we need her to stay in as we are short staffed”… I’m sorry.. my daughter was at home screaming crying and unwell?!
Staff are lazy, the room leader in the baby room never did anything; she would sit there with a baby on her knee avoiding doing anything and would never change nappies.. that’s WHEN she was in the room. 9 times out of 10 she would be in the kitchen or staff room name calling other members of staff or having a laugh and joke.
Agency staff were left alone multiple times with children.
My daughter was often left to cry herself to sleep!!! On one occasion I went upstairs early to collect her as I could hear her so distraught only to find she was left in the hall way completely unattended and crying at the baby gate.
The day I left, my partner called the nursery up and gave them a taste of their own medicine, said it how it is and how this nursery should not be running. After this call, management decided to interrogate each member of staff and try to get statements on me.. obviously because they knew that I had too much on them.
When I joined banana moon, 3 members of staff left.
When I left, another 3 members of staff left straight after.
I could honestly go on and on and on…
