It could have been significantly improved if they focused more on addressing issues like bullying, enhancing staff training, and refining other essential aspects. For instance, during S4, I had a conversation with a staff member regarding mental health, but instead of providing the support I desperately needed, they brought up irrelevant topics that felt trivial and intrusive. Instead of discussing potential job opportunities, I was hoping for genuine help and understanding. It’s clear that the staff needs to critically evaluate and improve their overall system, particularly in terms of their approach to bullying and the mental well-being of individuals.
It’s a horrible school, they do nothing for help with bullying. They rarely help children who need supported learning in mainstream classes. They don’t do anything about hate crime. They’re currently a large boom in islamophobia amongst the younger year groups. Children vape in the bathrooms, no one does anything about it. The s5 prefects don’t do anything, and some neglect there own duties because “they don’t want to do it”. However, most the teachers are lovely, so that’s a plus.
