This school is terrible
It was a horrible experience made me depressed

I would rate this school lower if I could.
It’s an absolute shambles, when Dame Brennan was head I remember having the best school years ever but after she left it couldn’t have gotten any worse
My brother is in Yr8 and my mom is so upset with the influence he’s getting from school as the once sophisticated child has now become so different
The children he is being surrounded with a chavvy and have no sense of standard or good behaviour and when teachers were called up about this they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
He will now be changing schools
When I did my A-Levels, the teachers would use textbooks to teach and not proper PowerPoints, I was failing constantly in one of my science classes and no teacher tried to help me and guide me
We were told that we couldn’t have an extra hr after school as ‘GCSES were their priority’ and at one point the Head of the History Department came into our class and abused so badly that some people were left in tears, we were told we wouldn’t make it and academically we were ‘worse than any year she had’
The teachers have no idea how to teach, they seriously do not know what to do and it shows when whole classes are failing badly, but apparently it’s ‘the students fault’

Terrible school. Would rate lower if i could
Terrible school, horrible people. They do NOTHING about bullying, and has gone downhill since the new head took over (thus why it went from ‘outstanding’ to ‘good’ on ofsted) unless your child is loud, chavvy and badly behaved they will have a terrible time fitting in here. They only aim their attention at the badly behaved children and praise them for doing the littlest thing. If you report bullying, they don’t do anything to sort it, just give the students an hour detention (literally does nothing) Leadership clearly have their favourites and they make sure to establish that.. definitely very biased. They think isolation and detentions will solve years of trauma and things that can mentally hurt someone for their whole life.. it hurts me. I can’t keep silent about this school anymore, Dont send your child here unless their a loud chavvy bully or they will 100% receive years of trauma in return.
Don’t go to beacon
The school doesn’t care for there pupils at all they disregard are opinions and only care about attendance and praise points. We re learn the same things every single year and there never on the tests and assessments but what is on them we’re expected to know without being taught them. I honestly hate going to beacon and would move if I could!!
BARR BEACON SCHOOL
this school is awful i had the worst 5 years of my life attending here. the teachers are CREEPY and always made all of the girls feel uncomfortable..if you know, you know…the teachers don’t have a clue what they are doing, they are pretty much all muppets, they always made their students do PE outside IN THE RAIN and then complain when they weren’t in school…how does that work? BUT THEN would make us do PE inside WHEN IT WAS HOT!!!!!! ridiculous. if i could rate 0 stars, believe me, i would!!!

Science department
Science department is terrible they can’t even lend year 10 textbooks also the science department don’t even carry out experiments they just use YouTube. Which is pure laziness.
