this school is very bad :(

I personally think this school is racist they pick on certain individuals and r not bothered by the rest. They make everything so serious if it’s jus a small thing they u fair and criticise the kids the schools fucked up and the teachers can’t control the kids they racist fucks and vio the pakis give the goris privileges cause if their acting n shi so don’t even bother sending ya kids here.

Really bad school. Teachers don’t care at all as to what the students need. There are 1/2 teachers that care but other than that their all just really damn crap. The rules of the school are pretty messed up as well, and im saying this as a current student who goes there. If you arrive even a minute late you are given an after school detention for 30 minutes. Teachers really think that the child is willing to go to that after having such a long day? The toilet rules are the ones that are so bad. Its a girls school and of course we get our periods every month and if you asked to go to the toilet even having saying its that time of the month you’d get told straight up no and they’d say why didnt you go at break or lunch. They make it as though we control our bladder. Even the PE rules are so crap. You cant leave without wearing full proper uniform and the school gave out hoodies right, but even then you have to wear a school shirt under that. I mean, are people going to tell us to lift our hoodies up? No they aren’t. So whats the point? School uniform is already terrible as it is. Even in the winter, we can’t wear coats because its not part of the uniform but teachers can come in wearing massive fluffy coats? They look messy half of the time i mean they wear mis-matched clothing but thats fine? I mean, even the students oh my god are they bad. The current year 10’s are the absolute worst. You cant even smile at them without them saying some messed up shit to you. Not even that, the amount of racism is unbelievable. These teachers don't give a damn as to what a brown kid has to say, if its in a fight then their most likely to take the white kids side. Thats not fair at all. Racial discrimination at its finest. The jewellery rules are the most stupid. How is having 2 ear piercings going to affect the childs study? How is wearing a bracelet going to affect the childs study? In PE, if you have two piercings you’ll be told to take both out and if your second one hasn’t fully healed you get sent to isolation and get given an hour detention after school.
Logical thinking is just something that this school lacks so I have no idea why their complaining about the students being bad.

Right we’re do I start this school is a peace, of shit u don’t get no support when u need some all u do is get told of and these new rules man 😂what are these gonna do bc am telling u now they are not doing owt all they are doing is getting more ppl done and detentions are so pointless u don’t ever listen to us when we talk to u all u care aboit is running round school and looking for us when we are skiving no wonder why no one likes that’s school bc it’s a shit hole and mr rylie I could go on for days aboit him he’s a prick who need to leave bc he gets me mad and u need to sort the school out all together fr it’s so shit half of use staff can’t even cope wiv us so why even bother u weirdos 😂👍🏽

This school is horrible. I don’t even know how it good an ‘outstanding from ofstead!!! They say they care but they really don’t especially the year 7 pastoral team there is a particular Pearson wich spoiled all my time there!!! I REALLY HOPE THIS SCHOOL IMPROVES IT NEED SERIOUS HELP ITS HORROR PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR CHILD THERE!!!!!!!!

Worst school ever.Where should i even begin..?
If you're a student who is not a quick learner or needs extra support,they WON'T provide you with it.They expect you to learn everything on you're own, they put work on google classroom and want you to learn it yourself with 0 help from the teachers because they are too lazy in lessons to actually teach students.Also,they only care about 'overachieving' and 'gifted' students they provide them with way better opportunities than 'average' students,they only care about the student's who are in set 1/2 but from set 3/4/5 they dont care about you,they discourage you into thinking you are 'dumb'.Also if you're in lower sets, especially in yr 9 the teachers will constantly rub it in you're face that you will do foundation science and maths. Also the behavior in lower sets is horrendous,the teachers do nothing about it except argue back with the students,they are grown adults who should know better than to argue with children,the right thing they should do is send the misbehaving student out of the class.But no,instead of excusing badbehaving students out of the class,they waste other students that actually want to learn lesson time,by having full blown arguments and also the teachers are very rude as they go on to mock students about how the way the students parents 'raised them'.
Also,they give u no trips or fun events,all the want you to do is work,work,work and WORK. If im being honest this school is more of a prison than it is a 'school'.

Heres why its a prison,the teachers dont let you go to the toilet, resulting in students getting bladder infections and utis.They dont let you wear coats even though the teachers themselves wear huge coats,how selfish. They always want you to look neat and tidy but the teachers look like scruffs and get away with it.If they care about uniform so much,why dont they make the teachers wear it?.

Also,the white teachers hate muslims and if there is something going on,they always take the white students side,for example if a white student is caught vaping or anything similar they only get isolation or a simple detention,they dont even get searched,but if a muslim student does anything similar they get kicked out of school.Also when.there is fights the brown.students always get kicked out whilst the white students only get detention or suspension.

Bullying is also a huge issue here,students are so rude and even go far as too cyberbullying other students and making their lives a wreck. The teachers only like the talkative and loud kids but dont even notice the shy and quiet kids,also if you're shy and a 'goody too shoes' you will most definitely get bullied here as the students who think.they are cool like to make shy kids lifes a nightmare,like is it our fault that we have social anxiety?. And if you try reporting the bullying to the teachers they dont absolutely nothing about it , they even go far as too taking the bullys side in most cases, as a student here i have experienced this case happen several times and it really,hurts that the teachers only care about money and not the childrens wellbeing.

Also,the only rewards you will get are rubber's and pencils if you're lucky.
And also in,form they try to make it about mental wellbeing but when a student has anxiety,they are like you will get over it'. Also they made this new rule that you have to bring planners in every morning and if you don't have it or forget it it is a straight after school detention,also if you arrive 0.1 second late they give u after school detention for a hour which is ridiculous because students are already depressed in being here, why would they want to spend more hours in this crap.
I really have a lot more to say,but this is the main issues going onI
I only have one last thing to say,
please don't send you're child here if you dont want them to spend years of their lives in therapy.

all they care about is grades and work. nothing else. they preach about mental health and work-life balance but can’t seem to provide us with any trips or fun events, such as cultural days. but it seems that every other school in the country does these things. even batley grammar just down the road, who by the way host their prom in a fancy hotel in leeds while batley girls does theirs in oakwell hall! just lavish!! the learning is good though and most of the teachers are okay but there’s a few like the ginger teacher and the student services staff who think it’s okay to treat students like dirt, but we’re human too! i feel like previous year 11s got so much better treatment and we get nothing. they need to do better. why can’t they provide us with the opportunities that other schools get, it’s not fair. their rules are overly extra as well, they punish you for things that are out of control. don’t bother sending your child to school if the coach is late because that’s a same day after school detention! they are also very strict on going to the toilet. i know several girls who have had accidents because they weren’t allowed to go, the toilets get locked as well which is really stupid. however, they are very lenient with the uniform policy compared to other schools though, which is a plus. it’s helped me since i have a nose piercing. they get good grades mostly as well, but they put down students a lot by convincing them they can’t do higher, especially in maths. they also provided the entire school with free hoodies which i really appreciate but they need to do better because i feel like they don’t consider us enough, especially since it’s our last year and most of year 11 is already struggling enough, we deserve more privileges.
