Birchwood Primary School

It’s an ok school. They do favourite kids and pick one kid for everything which does affect a kids mental health. All you need to do is birth a child to be a teaching assistant. Lunches are ok but quite average. In assembly, if you talk once, you have to stand up in front of the whole school (which is classed as public humiliation.) There was only one good teacher that stood out to me. I had him in year 6. He will remain anonymous for obvious reasons but he changed my life (in a good way). There is also a residential trip in year 6. If you want to learn something they most likely won’t help you.

The school is amazing and Has a chicken coop were some of the Year 6’s has a chicken coop where some of the year sixes apply to come help for it. Year 1 - Year 6 can apply for a role ( these are some ) : Junior Forester, School Council, Digital Leader, Meeter & Greeter and Sports Crew. At the end of the year they have a mini competition called “ Birchwood’s Got Talent” where if they win they get a shooting star golden trophy with their name in-graved in it. The only bad thing about the school is their favouriting problem like piking a certain person and they win everything, but except from that everything is exceptional. The lunches are fresh and good, they have their own vegetable patch and like I said earlier a chicken area where they get their fresh eggs from. The school trips are lovely and at the end of Year 6 They go on PGL and camp which is cool. It’s not just the teachers that are very kind the kids are as well so that’s One of the perks of that school. Xx
