Great school. Smaller than average schools in Leeds. Staff always helpful and accommodating

My son was assaulted at this school a couple of weeks ago, and nothing as being done about it, the teachers don't even phone you back when you phone up to see what action has being taken. Now my daughter is getting bullied and being threatened, so having to take her out of this school. Teachers are not interested in sorting bullies out. Kids are not safe at this school.

Yes, that is the same school, unfortunately. They thought changing the name of the school and replacing some teachers was going to get rid of the bad reputation. From what I'm aware, from the people I'm still in contact with, half of my year group left this school and went to Leeds East Academy or elsewhere who then had to pick up all the pieces. I honestly don't know how this place is still open.

They do not care
I was only at this school for a year and it was the worst time of my life. If you are bullied at this school they really couldn't care less,in fact,I was told to grow up,accused of lying about it and threatened with the police if I was, which is ridiculous. They made me question myself all the time. They also seemed to get some kind of twisted joy out of placing you in a group with people who were blatantly bullying you. The teachers, some of them were okay, at most, but overall, absolutely not. This school triggered severe mental health issues for me and still impacts me now.
