bohunt is alright
problems with the school
the school is alright but the thing that needs changing is the food. don’t get me started o bc the food. rice that is half cooked, over price food and that the school will not let you buy anything if your over the daily limit. this can be a problem if a student buys something for another student they won’t be allowed to get anything for themselves. do better.

this school is so bad they care more about how high your skirt is instead of your education also these ‘qualified’ substitute teachers are absolutely awful and half of them can’t speak barely any english.
Not good, but could be worse.
Most of the teachers are actually really nice but the people in charge aren’t doing a great job. Bullying and harassment is barely dealt with, SEN kids aren’t helped as much as they could be, and the student leadership team confuses the hell out of me and I’ve served multiple terms on it. Would not recommend but could be worse ig.

My honest review of Bohunt
Overall my Bohunt experience hasn’t been that bad, one of the bad things is that when a student comes with a complaint about a teacher or member of staff, the other teachers and extremely biased and not willing to help. Some of the pastoral team, for example, mr Campbell and mr Wilcox have helped a lot through my past experiences.
The school don’t deal with mental health as well as they should, calling them self a senco friendly school
I think they need to replace a couple of the safe guarding staff

Bohunt wokingham 2022 leavers student review
i left Bohunt in July 2022 but after being at the school for 5 years here is a summary..
I had enjoyed almost everyday at Bohunt, there were some years that i was bullied but due to the help of “Mr Hulland” i was given time off school to sort out my mental health after rumours spread throughout my year group! The Bullying was handled very quickly and i was able to come back into school and not have a worry or a care to give about the people bullying me.
The teachers are lovely and always willing to help when I need it, the only downside to this is that the teachers come to bohunt to get some work experience, so most teachers aren’t at the school a long time. This causes some issues due to being told i would have the same tutor all of the secondary life when i had 5 different tutors (Y7- Miss Tobin-Desson and Mr Campbell. Y8- Mr Murray-Smith. Y9 and Y10- Mr Peters. Y11- Mr Ballon)
One amazing aspect of the school is that i always knew that I had someone to talk to whether it be pastoral, reception, one of my teachers or a classmate.
Overall, Bohunt is a community and I loved being apart of! Though the 5 Years of being a Bohunt i passed all my gcses! and only have a couple bad things to say but that’s more towards how students can get attached to teachers who leave and that some of the teachers don’t know how to handle the kids.
Other than this, i believe that Bohunt is a lovely school and offers a wide arrange of Gcses and extra curricular clubs!! along as a lot of experience and perseverance!! and as the school motto says “Enjoy, Respect and Achieve!”

I’m currently in year nine and I have enjoyed everyday at Bohunt. The teachers are lovely and always willing to help when I need it. I know that I have someone to talk to whether it be pastoral, reception, one of my teachers or a classmate.

Their uniform is immaculate I must say overall this school is good..its a shame i never got the oppertunity to come here and sadly I was stuck in oakbank..5 years of hell
