Bolder Academy

The school where students think 'being bold' is 'being rude'. Students argue with staff. Students are physically violent. The school has a bullying culture amongst staff and students. Bullying is reported but not dealt with. Children have decided to take bullying in to their own hands and often have physical fights to sort it out because they know staff won't care or do anything.
The SEN Hub was great when it first opened but the Head Teacher, SENCO and the Hub Lead left and were replaced by miserable staff who clearly had no interest in the Students. New SENCO that started - I forget her name, Indian woman - dresses in very revealing clothing. Well she is a bully and the best member of staff left because of her. All she did each day was flirt with her PA. He wasn't a lot better than she was. The TAs are useless, they don't want to work and moan about being paid too little. They just sit there. One TA is ace, her name Ms Thomson, she has been very supportive within my lessons. She is wasted at this school though since the ethos is of bullying and students view of being cool is being a clown and not being clever. School in UNSAFE. Teaching staff are mainly young or new teachers who have no idea what they're walking in to, hence they last a year or 2 amd move on because it's so unbearable. Previous head was an Ofsted Inspector and she was able to make the school look good for inspections. Worst school I have ever worked at.
