Bolton Sixth Form College

If i didnt have to give it 1 star, trust me i wouldnt. I would rate this college a minus 1000 stars if possible. I studied here myself for 2 years and i am traumatised. I was on the t-level healthcare course. I had a new teacher every lesson for two years as they could not keep staff for the life of them. ive had teachers calling us the C word, spoilt brats, all sorts. The whole class failed both sets of their exams due to the lack of organisation in the college. Staff being fired left right and center and random supply staff coming in from the street with no background to teaching what so ever. There is consantly dramas going on at college- it is not a safe place. fights, tables thrown, teachers getting hit, people brining in knives. i never felt safe there. the staff are so unsupportive and literally laugh in your face when you try to express yourself. I would specifically like to point out a member of pastoral Zoe Barlow. This woman is in the wrong profession. I have never known such a nasty, manipulative, horrible woman. I seriously felt bullied by this staff member. The health and social care department is on its arse. Teachers are constantly receiving complaints from parents but believe me they all get dismissed without any action as the new head of department is bestmates with all the staff. A student was crying about feeling targeted from a teacher so went to the head of department denise. Denise then told her she was being ridiculous and she is offended as she thinks her staff are great. No action was taken. Ive maken complaints to ofsted, ncfe, and the top of the college Bill, which all also got dismissed. do not send your children here, avoid it at all costs. this college needs to be shut down or investigated immediatley.

Teachers are inconsiderate and don’t care about any students. If you had issues with technology they refused to help and failed your exam grades despite not having access to do the actual exam in the first place due to a broken laptop which was explained multiple times yet ignored. My form tutor didn’t help me with my university application and refused to send it off. the money for the application was taken twice but was never sent off and they’re refusing to give me my money back. they don’t care about anybody. Teachers would send you out of lessons for the most ridiculous things such as dropping a pen or having a phone faced down on the desk and would then refuse to let you back into the class and then complained if you failed assignments or exams. Teachers also harass you and leave a ridiculous amount of missed calls and messages if you do not answer them. I had 90 missed calls from my form tutor once because I missed a meeting with them.
