Went here during the time of 2016-2020 and let me say, thank God Covid happened because I don’t think I could’ve lasted in my last year at that school for as long as I did. Only liked a couple teachers, ie; mr Davis who might I say is probably the best English teacher, mrs Ali etc; there’s a couple whose names I can’t remember sadly. My year unfortunately had the luck of our head and assistant head of years being mr robins and mr Ahmed who both shared a lot of favouritism and it was very much clear. For some reason, eventhough I was nowhere near as bad as the kids in my year would have my phone taken off me for the weekends. Why? I don’t have an answer. The fact I can’t remember should say enough. I also cried when this happened and this is important for what I’m about to say next. Forgot the context, but I must’ve been saying something to mr Ahmed (nothing cheeky) and he replied with ‘are you going to start crying like you did when we took your phone’, in front of my friends too mind you so he no doubt did it as a sad attempt to try and embarrass and from then on I didn’t like him. He got a long well with students who were then in turn comfortable with calling him by his first name too. Genuinely such a mean spirited person. The both him and mr robins. Their biases for the ‘naughty kids’ were also very strong in a sense where they would try and relate to them. But me, I was only put in isolation maybe 3x? In that whole 5 years and yet somehow my situation warranted my phone being taken off for weekends which mind you maybe lasted for about 3 months.
they do not care about the bullying or the misogynistic comments, will be absolutely horrible to you if youre lgbt, a different race, or the fact that you stand up for yourself. bullying always happens in the classrooms and the teachers pretend to not hear the discrimination, which is sad. fights are always happening and not to mention they do not permanently exclude the students, they give chances after chances. the students in this school genuinely just need better manners and learn how to respect a building which isn't their house instead of throwing stuff around, stealing stuff that isn't theirs and actually learn basic social cues and manners
This school is so trash, the toilets are so broken, there is no proper support, little is done to tackle racism and bullying, school fights are a must already, people with disabilities are not even protected, too many supply teachers, the food is way too expensive for what we get, there is basically no toilet paper
A school stuck in the 1970’s with some really unprofessional staff. Students can be openly racist and misogynistic and little is done to address this. The school doesn’t even record racist incidents. Staff are over familiar with students and gossip about each other to them. The toilets are always damaged and the lack of them seriously impacts the females in the school. Avoid at all costs. 🙁

The worst School that you can come across, is an awful workplace, especially the MFL department where I was subjected to discrimination and witnessed a horrible incident where my colleague almost lost her career while she was trying to get her QTS.
Unfair recruitment process, appointing someone only because he is of a certain religion ; the Principal had met someone in the Church and guess what? He appointed him without any safeguarding consideration or previous knowledge of the UK curriculum.
For your mental health safety stay away from Broadway School folks.
The amount of support I received from this school is amazing. Teachers really do try their best to assist students on achieving their maximum potential, which I believe is very important.
