It’s not the school it’s the staff just terrible
Myself and a lot of others Wish we never went there, I advise no one to go there for those who are in year 6. Make out they care but they couldn't care less about your mental health they just make your life a misery. they just put stress upon stress on you always moaning about every little thing, Always trying to control you. Rather than sorting out actual problems they go around making comments about every little thing on any student they can see scanning you as soon as you walk into the school site or anytime your around them like we’re robots horrible staff they all just talk about you in the staff rooms whenever they get a chance as if we don’t know. Biggest mistake I ever made coming to brownhills Ormiston academy I thought all school we’re the same but brownhills is something else
Flooding all the time
All ways get told off for nothing and it is A boring school and you get to do nothing you want and you can not go on your phones or you get it taken of you

Too many bully’s
There’s are too many bullies in this school… Tristan Clinton smith is a well known bully, he likes to bully with his friend frazer baker, they take peoples vapes and like to make fun of peoples disabilities, Tristan also likes to breathe on students as he has Gingeritus meaning it smells

My son has Been bullied by a person called Tristan Clinton smith. Apparently this kid has been given many chances before and we want him gone bc he’s been hurting my son and threatening him to steal vapes even tho my son doesn’t even smoke anything.
Bulling
As a former parent of this school and now
have grandchildren in the school,policies for bulling have not changed in over 10 years they seem to stick the heads in the sand ,it's a joke if you go on the website there policies for bulling say that they don't accept it so why is the school not doing anything about it.

4 years of my life ill never get back
I wish i could give it zero the teachers dont do anything to help with your mental health , i got an apple thrown at my shoulder which has caused chronic pain and they did absolutely nothing even though they watched the person do it. The teachers pick favourites and refuse to help the students who acctually struggle learn. People throw stuff in the corridors and vape in the toilets , if you hate your child so much you wish for them to commit suicide i recommend sending them to brownhills.
Needs improvement
Generally a terrible school. No support to students experiencing bullying, abuse, sexual assault or bigotry. No support to struggling parents either, their first reaction are threats.
School review
Well they don't handle the Sexual assault very well. My friends have been sexually assaulted by tbe same girl multiple times and the school never do anything. We hardly ever learn about black history, Asian history or any other cultures history. The students there aren't the nicest and they get away with making sexist, racist and homophobic comments. There's only a few teaches I would be comfortable with reporting something to them. The sports side to the school is very good quality though.
