Disgusting school they drag you like you arnt even a human being they pin you up against wall,s they bruise you terrible for autism etc hate it you get in iso and det for stupid things.

I have had 4 children attend this school over a period of 15 years and it has not changed at all My eldest son who had learning difficulties spent all his school life in exclusion and playing monopoly My Daughter lasted about a month before being perminantly excluded ... she had adhd My next son failed at most of his exams he tried hard but got no help My next son was kicked out of the school after having a fight with another student and passed on to another school within the academy ... it was a serious assault and was accepted by all and my son was full of remorse Sending a child to a BETTER school FURTHER away with the SAME headteacher is not right at all The school has too many silly rules silly punishments and policies for kids and parents to handle and do not provide adequate support for kids with difficulties and swapping headteachers and staff around when visitors go is a sly trick to make the school look good The school does nothing to ensure safety of kids on school busses everyday day kids fight throw things and damage the busses The school fails to disclose when they mess up ... my son went to school as normal and failed to come home on time hours went by no word on my son we searched phoned round and involved the police ... my son did turn up ... the staff took him on a school trip that we were told he was not allowed to go on because of his behaviour and did not have our consent

I DONT KNOW WHY BRUNTCLIFFE ACADEMY IS RATED 3.9 STARS ITS AMAZING APP THE TEACHERS ARE NICE AND FRIENDLY

Do not put your happy children into this so called school. It is run like a business, yet if it was mine I would sack most. Totally disgusted! I cannot write anymore as this site will only let you write so much..tells u something

Staff dont do anything about bullying and they dont care about students mental or physical health

I go here and i got bullied all the time and i told staff and teachers amd they did nothing abt it. But when I decided to fight back i got in trouble for it. This and many other incidents has happend here

this school is horrible the teachers tell students to shut up and you also get put in isolation for the most pathetic things i did not know white socks affect my learning this school looks 50 years old overall really bad and strict school regret coming here shout to miss grey and miss carney for being real teachers who care

the worst school in the area. always putting me in isolation for no reason and they are so strict over the smallest things like the color of your socks. SO STUPID!!

Actually quite a good school I made life long friends and a couple of teachers genuinely have been really supportive and will definitely miss them when I leave. Extra curricular is my favourite thing it's amazing I love it. However only 4 stars coz I just wish school would use more gender inclusive language it's really annoying when me and my lgbtqia+ friends feel excluded coz a teacher called us "girls and boys" instead of just "people" I think it's a very simple thing to do and just yk a core value is inclusivity, yet some teachers say stuff like that. Ye anyway good school I like it.

I love this school honestly. The teachers have been great help and the lesson plans are awesome. I am a year 10 student and will admit that I will be sad to leave. For example, one of the teachers here has helped with a lot more than just the learning, they have taught me a lot about life and is great to talk to when feeling down or stressed. One thing I dislike about the school is the use of language they use when addressing us as students. If they could use more gender inclusive terms such as "people" instead of "boys and/or girls" I am positive that more non binary students will feel included as one of the core values after all, is inclusivity.
