Disappointed with this school
My daughter got a detention for not ‘finishing her clearing away’ in food tech when she clearly did and was being told to clean others stuff who had left a mess, so I told her she could miss her detention, they changed the detention for the next day , so I emailed saying I would like word with teacher next day they replied back saying they had passed the email on , yet still no phone call, it comes to the end of the school day , yet still no phone call , so she missed it again , they did absolutely nothing , still waiting for a phone call , she’s been out in iec with another detention after school , this school needs to be sorted out!!!! Not impressed

I am a former student. I would keep far away if you can. The students arnt in control. Teachers think they have the right to put camreas in a unisex public toilet. The only thing I feel bad for in that place are the teachers that actually help you pass your exams.

My daughter went to the school and it was not very happy while she was getting bullied and had a couple of fights defending herself. She was the one to get suspended when the other girl so-called had a weapon on her, and her own mother took her down to the police station and wrote a statement about having a weapon on her, but this school hasn’t done anything to defend my daughter, she has been sexualised by teachers locked out by other students talked about teachers have shouted at her and when she needed the toilet because she was on her period she was denied that access. I am not happy as a parent who has two kids I advise you not to get your kids into this school it will destroy you. It will destroy your child. It will destroy your mental health and your child’s it is in a good place please listen to me and do something about it

This school is terrible. I advise you not to send your child here from a students point of view I was not happy going here. I never want to go here ever again every day I was bullied. I told teachers every day but they never did. I think teachers stand in front of you? Shout at you when you’re sitting down and scares me I was abused are very young age and the teachers do you know about it, but the headteacher and my head of year stood at in front of me while I was sitting in the chair, asking for my phone take shouted at me they suspended me three times for nothing. They came to my home and told my mum that I wasn’t good enough for the school, but I still go to this very day, they moved me to a different tutor, which a couple of my bullies are in I asked move and they said no, I tried to stand up for myself several times but they wouldn’t listen to me. They don’t care about mental health the school was meant to be shut down and it should’ve, but their trust saved it. It is a bad school. It has aand it should’ve, but their trust saved it. It is a bad school. It has had many bad reviews over the couple years. please, I tell you now do not send your child here.

This school is terrible... there bullying is really bad and no teacher deals with it... students are not safe at the academy... SLT is bad and need improving majorly... Teachers need to be trained on recent stuff that is happening with students... The school is bad for basically everything... Pupils in the academy are bad because of how they are getting taught... The teachers think they know everything about the students but they don’t

There are a few unjust punishments for breaking uniform rules even when unavoidable. The teachers are generally ok but can pick favourites and aren't consistent. There is also a bullying problem like with most schools. The facilities are great.
