Terrible school do not go here. I came to this school in year seven when it was much better. In year 8 I was struggling massively at school with learning, I was never good at maths and got repeatedly dumped in classrooms full of students who just did not want to learn and teachers who couldn’t control the class or teach effectively. In year 9 I had a dyslexia screening which diagnosed me with severe dyslexia, they then did not help me. My parents sent masses of emails which all got ignored. This resulted in me having no extra time or help in my GCSE exams when I had been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia. They never made any effort to help me and academically gifted students are 100% put before challenged students. Teachers here care more about what bracelets you are wearing rather than how your education is actually working out. Not only this but I got repeatedly picked on and singled out by particular teachers based on my abilities, this was practically bullying. DO NOT recommend!

not a good school and dont go to boarding either they serve terrible food have bad staff , bad wifi, unreasonable rules and terrible staff

A great school all student go on to top collages and apprenticeships etc but slightly strict
Unethical school
Worst school you can send your children to, don’t help with chams and sends needs never put things in place for students that struggle more than others. Mr Bassett is about the only teacher that is decent and miss skirtern should not be in the school system, she does not know how to deal with students properly and gives them hard time and bad mouths everyone behind there backs. All in all worst school in Oxfordshire.
Pretty good
I enjoyed it there. My teachers were mostly nice and supportive. my form tutor was honestly the nicest person on earth and made me and my entire form feel so safe. The only complaint is the lack of mental health support, despite my entire year group complaining from year 7 til year 11.

I’ve been there since year 7 and genuinely a good school. only thing i don’t like about it are the kids in the school. i’m now in year 12 and it’s going pretty well

I went to them for help and they told my parents and now I'm in trouble. Teachers don't help me and the work is too easy
Worst School in Oxfordshire
This school is awful. I'd write an entire explanation for you as to why you should NOT send your children here, however, i feel this is reason enough. I'd reccomend a school in witney such as Woodgreen or the cotswold school instead, as Burford has been too shocking for words. Ask anyone who has gone there.
