Worst school you could ever attend

I attended this school a while ago and it was awful, was bullied relentlessly and teachers did nothing! I finally stood up for myself and was then suddenly the bad kid, teachers treated me like dirt and scolded me for doing something about my bullies. Kids run riot, supply teachers were verbally and physically attacked, SA by students to students and when I told this to my head of year I was told "you don't look like a victim because you aren't crying". My child dev teacher told me that I would end up getting pregnant too young, get post natal depression and kill my baby (not and never been pregnant) and my maths teacher joined in with the bullies! It got so bad that I didn't go to school and skipped it, when I did go back, my form tutor made one of my bullies escort me to my classes to make sure I attended, you can imagine how that felt! Eventually after the SA and skipping school, they decided to get rid of me, so I was home schooled by a lovely woman who actually cared in my final year. The whole experience of County Upper still affects me to this day (11/12 years later) and I will never recommend this school and will remember what it did to my mental health for the rest of my life, DO NOT send your kids here, especially if they are different in any way, shape or form, I promise that you will regret it!

Great school experience

Great school, my son has just finished Year 11. He had plenty of support, the teachers were helpful and dealt with any issues promptly and he did very well in his exams. There are loads of extra curricular clubs to join - sports, music, debating, DofE etc. Also Year 11 revision sessions in the holidays for those who want them. The school building could do with a bit of tlc in places but it's the quality of teaching & the opportunities available that are the most important things.

You've been warned....

Where to start? Drugs. Violence. Threats. Abuse. Child on child sexual attacks. And an utterly useless Head who thinks she's God's gift to education. The whole place needs shutting down, have police and security on every corridor, and the entire leadership fired.
