Honestly wouldn't recommend
Teachers don't know how to control their own classrooms and the rules just get stricter and stricter. People who behave worse get more praise than people who behave well, someone who has behaved terrible for the entire lesson will get rewarded when they do the bare minimum and that doesn't make sense at all cause they shouldn't be getting rewarded for the bare minimum. There aren't really any teachers who care about mental health, they could say they'll have a talk with you but it's never helpful and sometimes when they say they'll come get you they never do, its pointless reaching out for help because they don't care enough to make it a priority. It feels more like a prison rather than a school ever since they've gotten automatic locking doors on every block in the school. School will usually blame you more than someone whose done you wrong which is so messed up and to be honest it just doesn't feel like they care about you at all anything to do with students is unimportant to them, they care more about your attendance than what's causing you to not come in, also they don't do anything about problems you email them about.

This is so bad my son has came home crying everyday and his comes home with bruises this is very bad 2 years my son has been hiding this I want to to tell your students off

The teachers don't care about you unless your grades are good. The students are taught useless morals. The higher staff make promises which end up unforfilled. There was mold in the food. Multiple times.

Issues with the school
(There are more issues but here’s some of them) never get help always being told of even tho I haven’t done nothing teacher done help you it’s horrible don’t inform your parents with any learning disabilities or learnings difficulties don’t tell your parents if you get a detention give you a detention for the littlest things like not having a pen forgetting your equipment or gets put in isolation when ever you don’t have a tie or the correct shoes or even if you wear white socks or socks that go above the knees even if there broke the school doors lock all the time in the hallways and the teachers are so rude can’t go to the toilet even when it’s lunch time you get kicked out also when girls are on there period your not allowed to go toilet even if you’ve leaked on a chair they won’t send you home to get yourself sorted I’ve had to walk out of school also won’t move seating plan even if you have an issue with the person your sat with. I wouldn’t recommend to Anyone
Worst school in Norfolk
They say they care ab our mental health but then the teacher cause us to have brake downs and panic attacks I have walked out of lessons almost everyday and we get locked in by automatic door locks they treat us like we’re not human and overall is just purely mental abuse the teachers treat us like we’re just people to shout at and when you shout back your in the wrong even when you’ve done nothing wrong

I have been struggling since year 7 and now in year 11 they have only started trying to help me and get me tested for things but when I have a mental break down don’t help me just send me back to lessons i would not recommend going to this school the school doors also lock in the cooridor don’t help you with learning if struggling and the staff love you get you into trouble even if you haven’t done nothing wrong

Shit school,wouldn't recommend, has gone so far downhill that it is now basically a high security prison, the food is never cooked properly, all of the lessons are not taught very well, and the staff don't try and help you unless you are seriously bad behaved in lessons

The school has gone down hill so much since we got a new head master and we’re treated like we’re in a prison the doors get locked at curtain times so if you have an appointment you can’t get to the lesson you need after the appointment due to the doors locking

You have to ask to got toilet and they don't even let you go so rude and the doors look like a prison and if your ill they don't let you go home unless you have 95%+ attendance like what am I meant to do just suffer? and you Get shouted at for not tucking in your shirt

The school wasn’t the best
When I was there from year 7-11 they did absolutely nothing about bullying, I was relentlessly bullied because I came out and the teachers told me I should of not came out and such. The school system there is absolute bullshit and they say they want us to try the best that we can, we do they’re not satisfied til you’re mentally unstable. I remember taking time off school because I wasn’t mentally there and they tried to fine my my for something I cannot control, I see the school councillor and nothing helped. The school is just bullshit and whoever goes here will not like it whatsoever due to the new rules (ie, isolation for wearing white socks, hair cuts, if you’re being bullied they punish you and not the person that’s responsible.) I will say there was some good times at this school, because of this one teacher that is so lovely and I will forever hold her in my heart, she helped me there and she was only a TA, her name is miss mannell and she was the kindest soul there. If you go here, be careful due to the shit rules and some teachers too, always follow them or you’ll be thrown out.

gone downhill but not the worst
the school has seriously gone downhill. it was a lot better when i was in year 7 and now i am in year 11 and it is becoming awful. teachers are becoming stricter and many teachers cannot control their classes and their teaching methods can be poor and questionable, such as one teacher who, if you were to ask a question, she will just repeat anything she previously said and will not elaborate. it is extremely unhelpful. well behaved students are not rewarded enough, and poorly behaved students are rewarded too much for doing just the bare minimum. some of the teachers do teach well and can control the class but for me the negatives end up outweighing the positives because at the end of the day, years of my school time have been wasted because of some teacher's incredibly poor control and teaching style.

Brilliant school, excellent teachers.
I was a student here from 2014 to 2019. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Always there for students even if they were misbehaving. The teaching staff went above and beyond to help students with not only issues in school, but issues outside of school. The catering staff were excellent at their profession, and the food was delicious.
