Brilliant school
Great school that has had some big improvements in recent years. People generally happy to be there.
Not fun
Filled with homophobia, transphobia, racism and lack of support for neurodivergent people. Constant screaming from people in the corridors who don’t go to lesson. Little help for mental health issue even though they flaunt having a large team of ‘mental health firstaiders’. Some teachers are good at what they do as well as nice to talk to.
Fantastic school at the heart of the community
As a parent I am very proud that my children are part of the Cansfield community. They both love going to school, they have great friendship groups and are thriving academically and personally.

Cansfield has improved so much during the last 3 years. Looks great as well. During the pandemic they have done everything right. Mental health of the children has been supported during lockdown my child has a mental health first aider to support her.

ugh....
uniform rules are ridiculous. spent £60 on a decent pair of kickers that would last a few years, you know SCHOOL SHOES,to be told they were too "trainer like" and had to buy new ones. Support for kids mental health is just not there, and the amount of racism and homophobia used by kids in the corridors is disgusting and goes untreated. can't wait to leave.

The school has improved massively since the new head teacher arrived and lots of postive changes have been made to the people and the building
dreadful school
worst 5 years of my life. was extremely poorly run and the children were let down by the teachers. food is inedible and management is questionable
