has no cultural day and makes students come in on strike days even when they have no exams 😭 system and teachers very odd too

Stupid school
A teacher gave my son a detention because she thought he was chewing in PHSE but all he did was twist his mouth. He told her he wasn't chewing and he could speak clearly because there was nothing in his mouth. He is not attending the detention. I have called the school and am waiting for a call back from the teacher. It's not even been recorded on Classcharts yet. How this school's got a good Ofsted report I'll never know!

My disabled son has come home with scratch’s in his neck and marks

Absolute hell. Does nothing about bullying even when they say they can help, turn a blind eye to sexual harassment. Teachers are more bothered about uniform than education.

Superb school high standards and very calm atmosphere. Recommend in every way.
Lunchtime detention for going to the toilet.
My son got a lunchtime detention for being late to lessons 3 times this term and he was only in the toilet. The students only get 5 minutes to get to their next lesson, the corridors are always rammed and there's a lot of pushing and shoving, resulting in fights. The teachers don't care when my son tries to explain he was in the toilet and say they've heard it all before. The students aren't allowed to go to the toilet during lessons so when are they supposed to go or are they supposed to soil themselves?
I emailed my son's tutor and head of house about it but neither of them replied so I emailed the Redhill Academy Trust about it. I'm still waiting for a response from them too.
The teachers also like to dish out behaviour points for minor issues and more serious issues get overlooked. The school have their priorities wrong.

Terrible!
Don't come here! Teachers have 0 respect or care for students whatsoever they're always picking on us for nothing! Not welcoming whatsoever. Teachers always put an act on for parents but are horrible to students. Also the upper years can be quite horrible in corridors, lunch queues and break times. Teachers give no support on mental health and only care about uniform & homework! It's horrible!

Awful bullying not by kids but by teachers! Drop a pencil, detention. Ask a friend a question, detention. Awful policies and awful staff.

Mental health and bullying
Ngl it’s an ok school with new and improved facilities.but surprisingly students metal health is the least of there concern as well as bullying they do little to none to help. Even though they have many assemblies on these topics. If they was a improvement on this it would be a good school. But the school does barley anything to help

The school doesn't even care about our mental health and what we're going through, there more focused on our uniform more than anything else. A group of people were bullying Me and my friend and the kids put all the blame on us and we got told off without us saying our side of the story! Don't go to this school!!

Choose another school
All of the reviews are right. This school is actually horrible. Rude teachers and racist teachers,helping students with mental health is literally 0. They honestly do care about the way you present yourself appearance wise than your problems. Sexualise their PE uniform for girls ,wanting them to wear tight skorts. Some of the students are disgusting and horrible and the teachers are not fair.

Teachers have barely any regard for the comfortability of students. They pick on students thinking that they are helping education but are really making the student even more uncomfortable.

This school has no boundaries on where teachers should stop picking on students. Teachers do not give students the chance to apply their opinions or reasons into the conversation. Teachers come across rudely to students when they for example tell them to correct their uniform or tell them to wear a mask.
