MY EXPERIENCE AT THE THIS WAS HORRID. they do nothing for the kids who actually behave and do everything for the naughty kids, teachers are awful, they changed the rewards trip from flamingo land to an inflatable knockout, movie experience(which would probably be the projector in the dance studio) , watching a football or dodgeball game or cooking using the dirty, grubby pans in food tech rooms. we pay to go to flamingo land anyway and ur telling me our rewards “trip” isn’t even going to be outside the school building. absolute joke.

Me and 4 of my mates got sent to connect by Miss TIll at Castleford Academy because she has started shouting at us for no reason and when we asked her to stop shouting and talk a little more quitley as it was making us uncomfortable she sent us all and then she has told complete lies to our head of year and suspended 2 of my friends gave me abt 10 days in connect and ie and gave someone else another day I do not recommend this school and please to not send your children there if u care for them

Writing a complaint on this school for sending me from school to school basically shipping me off to every school cause they didn’t want me putting me in connect every day and wasting my education due to that a got no gcse now cause of ur bad education and then lying to me about having a place in college for a full 6 month and then telling me last minute I don’t have a place, your a bully towards ya students and ruined my chance of having a education, no child should be left out which I dealt with the whole 4 years of me been in this school and u have ruined my future thanks pal x x x x u should know who this is, straight up waste of time you horrible freaks ps MA? I might have a gob and answer back but I’ve been told to speak to people how they speak to you, I will ruin ya

I am still waiting for a full apology from the school, who leaked highly personal and confidential information . The ICO confirmed the leak.

Education is good for the most part, but for most people, it isn't efficient or helpful in many ways to them. I will agree with others that the hallways are quite crowded most of the time and it can be quite hard to move. The food is ight most of the time, the fields are spectacular for any sport. One major flaw is the toilet queues are way too long for most of the day, and the inside is absolute bedlam aswell. Opening another toilet somewhere else in the school would be the proper solution. Other than that, overall, Cas is alright, and puts effort in most of the time. :)

Terrible school. The schools strictness is abominable the epraise system does not work. Terrible mental health support along with worse bullying support systems. They end up taking the side of the bully and the bullied student getting punished. The most they end up doing as a "Last Resort" is to send you to a councilor for 3 weeks for 3 sessions. And then they report back to the school about everything you say IT IS NOT ANNON. In conclusion, shiet school, sheit teachers, and even sheiter grades.

This school gives decent education, but if you have poor mental health it sucks. I’ve cried several times in class and also struggle with focusing, however they need you to be ‘diagnosed’ with something to offer any support at all.

The hallways are always crowded people have constantly being pushed and shoved over and then trampled on and teachers do nothing about it. One rule is literally do whatever you're told to by teachers which is just a shitty move altogether and they are constantly talking about how well Oxford sees them. Bullying is a big problem there and nothing is done about it ive been harassed in the hall ways infant of teachers and they have pushed past me. It feels like a maze it looks and smells like a hospital and it makes me want to kms.

na listen ye this school ye dunt give… yanno abt ur mental health or owt ye man i could be dying and they’ll give me a wet paper towel like naaaaa but ye wearing a ring gets u kicked out of u don’t take it off???school when they try “sort” it an alternative previson or connect or IE (isolation) is the solution, if u don’t know how to speak to a kid wi manners and be respectful and listen to their side of the story, don’t even bother tryna work there we all know ur on minimum wage and do it for couple a bar and just remember…… clean ye toilets please

doesn’t do anything for bullying, has no help for mental health what do ever. teachers always mix the story’s and don’t listen to the child what do ever. my friend lost 4 months of learning due to them putting her in step up for having “blue hair” when it was blond. and then complain about her attendance. shocking school with shocking staff wouldnt recommended if your child is struggling with any mental health or at home as this school makes it worse and makes children feel trapped. not allowed outside for break or lunch so no fresh air all day unless you have pe. too crowded and school dinners r extremely expensive i spend £25 a week it’s ridiculous

Education is great but also the priority, little support in other areas of it doesn’t effect your work don’t bother moaning

way too crowded and they also dont do anything to help with mental health. the teacher cam be too strict and the dress code is very strict and makes me uncomfortable sitting in it for 6 hours

Overall a decent school however offer no help for students who suffer from mental health. Teachers also make unfair and rude comments to students on their appearances (normally both male and female teachers to female students). Not a nice place to spend 5 years. Also for students struggling to reach they’re grades in school they prefer to add to the stress rather than offering help. Finally, as there is now too many students to fit correctly into the school break and lunches are now a struggle and often leads to many unattended fights.
