Chadsmead Primary Academy

It's a good school with on the whole, kind caring and helpful.staff. My child has SEN and they are much better off in another setting but the funding they used for support for my child was minimal. While they were receiving proper SEN support they were happy and making progress even if it was slow, once that stopped they became very unhappy and no progress was being made. I know not all pupils are suited to this type of school or education but they should be properly supported until.a more suitable setting is found. I said education and learning was,average as it was for my child, even if for others it's great.

Fabulous school with great teachers. They really know and care about the children, and have great communication with parents. They've handled asthma and allergy situations really well, and my child feels safe here. Home learning during covid was well managed with check ins and feedback provided every week. Extra curricular opportunities are widely offered, at reasonable prices. Work done in lessons is challenging and appropriate, and my child is excited to go to school.
