my down syndrome daughter went there there and let me tell you she was not greated with a warm welcome to start off her first day a girl whose name i can not say tried to push her down the stairs and now she takes the lift so after that all happened when she was in the lift three girls came in and said hey fatty show us yo tounge she didn't respond then to really put the cherry on the cake 5 teachers asked her if they could catch a ride on her wheel chair wow just wow .
This school is NOT a grammar school! I had very high expectations for Churston Ferrers Grammar but that went down the drain when I walked into the toilets and I was greeted with a very thick vape cloud and the stench of wee all over the toilets and floor. The students are out of order and aren't disciplined well enough! As for the teachers, I don't know what happened... Some of the staff don't have a clue how to teach! The older teachers who have been in Churston for longer, however, are much better. The gcse options process is also really bad because they lie to you and tell you that you will get all of your options but you don't!!! Overall, the school is out of order and definately DOESN'T deserve the name : best school in torbay.
This is an amazing school, it has lots of lunch options from Mango to Meatballs. The teachers are very good and try their best to make every lesson great.
Great school with a great learning ethic ‘learning to create a better world’ yet I does lack some things, the skills to manage disability and some teachers I do not believe to have the right idea towards grading one student to another male to female and vice versa, some may to go as far as not having the right ability to teach. The meals are very good yet do not manage to see a healthy option.
