horrible school.

Overall ,this school is awful. Coming from a parent, I’d like to address the staff members attitude towards other students. They speak to students like absolute bs😡. My daughter comes home daily crying about other students foul choice of words and the teachers treating children very unfairly via who they get along with more ect. honestly, wouldn’t recomend sending your child to this school. My daughter was extremely bright going into year 7, 4 years later she states school is the worst thing that’s ever happened to her. Her grades have dropped massively and the way students treat eachother is beyond disgusting. False allegations were made of my daughter not to long ago, stating she was bullying another student for their weight, however there was concrete evidence she didn’t, yet the school still took the other students side as they “liked her more” or “felt bad for her” better yet, brought up my daughters insecurities as part of comparing them to the other students 😡. Honestly, worst experience I’ve ever had with a school, especially considering coop north was rated good by ofstead. absolutely disappointing. 0/10 from me.

awful.

I do not recommend sending your children to this school, my daughter attends coop academy north Manchester and comes home telling me about constant fights, teachers being unfair and targeting students they may not feel a good connection with. She also comes to tell me that there’s been incidents involving students saying disgusting and nasty things(bullying one another) and the teachers couldn’t care less. Students make many false allegations towards one another, I do not recommend sending your child here what so ever. How this school is rated good on ofstead is beyond belief. It’s a joke.

Good school

It was a very good school, so don’t worry about the other comments lol. The teachers are good and try very hard to support students during GCSES period. The students areas, for example: the canteen, are very large and there’s a lot of space there. I think there’s also security guards too. Would acc recommend.

coop north

i was in that school and was bullied a lot and some teachers helped and some didn't but even in lessons some teachers would give detentions for asking for help. other than that great school!

Alright school

not a bad school overall, some things could be better with staff but no major issues just some staff attitudes and decisions regarding behaviour that are debatable. Lessons aren’t great but could be worse and students can achieve high grades quite commonly. Good selection of choices for options in GCSEs. Areas for break and lunch are alright. Food could be better.
