Bad Teachers
This school is appalling I’m a year 8 student and I think some other students should come forward to address this school of its horrible teachers , rude and disrespectful students and the amount of attention that is given in class may I also mention that this shite school dosent offer any help towards bullying so I rest my case the teachers are shite and the school in general is shite
Not fond of this school at all !
I would like to share my experience for the FIRST time (day 1) at co op academy at Swinton. And I would like to agree with the comment below as a supply teacher I was also wrongfully accused by pupils at this school, student are very rude and I didnt see any disciplinary action against negative behaviour in class. The staff were very disorganised to provide work and no policies were explained as everyone was in a rush. After that day pupils wrongfully accused myself in saying something which was never true. After the investigation the outcome was that I was innocent. Some staff members had mentioned in the staff room that they were sworn at by a year 9 pupil. This shows how the pupils from this school can get away with saying nasty things to teachers.

Beware all teachers !
As a teacher I didnt have a great experience at this school, the staff members are ignorant to help, and students are very rude and would do anything to accuse you falsely of saying something to them. This is threatening to our career and I would strongly recommend every teacher to beware and to not risk your career.

Don't like the new headteacher to be honest, considering the 5 day strike in the first months shes been here and some ketty lads climbing on the school its clear to see that maybe its not meant for her x if you dont mind sexist annoying wanna be roadmen and loud disruptive chavs this school has it all for you xox
Not dead or drug addled.
The budget is low. The y7s are annoying. Overall I haven’t been shot yet and there doesn’t seem to any drugs worse than smoking and energy drinks from the dodgy corner shop. Reading some other reviews it’s seems better than most. Top 2 sets are full of girls though which shows a real sexism in our society and I won’t stand for it.
