Racist, rude, not helpful whatsoever

Absolutly terrible school, my son gets detentions for things he has not even done, he gets isolations when he has not done anything, even without proof of anything they dont want to know and listen, and he still gets punished, worse school in birmingham. Its racist, homophobic you name it ,they are it. Teachers are useless and dont want to listen just want to big themselves up., they are bullies, horrible horrible school, avoid it, or expect the expected.

If your anything other than a straight white boy, this school will make you think you’re in a concentration camp. Mrs hall and mr price get 5 stars though

horrible school, they say to be yourself yet were not even aloud nothing were not aloud earrings,necklace,braclets but it dont effect out learing they shit talk kesh bout there uniform and all that but like ours is any better male teachers starring at ours skirts saying there to short and they need to be bellow the knee. wtf dont look at out skirts end off, u get iso and detions for nothing and they say all this shit about articals but articals my ass man the school is horrible its racist and everything racist kids get put in iso for 1 day but when u wear eyelashes u get send home and iso its some sick joke. teachers are vile and everything. cockshut hill is a horrible school parents reading this or teachers do not go cockshut hill.

I can't wait till my daughter leaves the skool I wouldn't even recommend this skool to any parent also the teachers can't even handle their students I will always regreat the day I put my daughter in this skool

It’s not a good school. My main issue is that they like to pretend to be such good people, like posting that they’ve done things for charity, putting up a pride flag, bragging about their “35+ nationalities” but have racist or homophobic teachers, never do anything for their students who are part of minorities and getting bullied, and say they “raise money for charity” but whenever we have for example christmas jumper days they didn’t even collect our donations. The general atmosphere of the school is very bad and the majority of students are homophobic, ableist or racist. Very unsafe place for anyone slightly different than the social norm. Don’t send your child here unless they fit the societal standards ? “3rd most improved school in Birmingham” is NOT the flex you think it is. Also trying to big themselves up calling themselves an “Academy” and making the canteen a “Restaurant” is just laughable. You’re a secondary school in the middle of Birmingham, please don’t gas yourselves.

I am a current student of Cockshut Hill and I love it there. There are some cases of bullying and homophobia, but the teachers take care of it very well. Everyone is very kind and the curriculum is amazing. Some things could be added (just so you know this is during COVID-19 so some things were restricted) but overall, a very good school. I recommend that you send your children here, as they will be well educated and very happy here.

This school is TERRIBLE i used to go there and where do I even start. If parents r reading this PLZ don’t send ur childs here. First of all the school has a srs bullying problem and the teachers never take it srs. My friends got bullied so bad. There’s a lot of racism and homophobia and u would think because there’s a big desi community there would be not a lot of racism but Noo, most of the whites are racist and they give 3 weeks off for christmas but u can’t have more Than 1 day off for eid. The teachers r so extra and get mad over something small like my sister is in year 10 there Now and u can’t even have more than 1 ring or they’ll come and take it from u, No lashes, Cant even roll ur sleeves up on ur blazer in the middle of summer or they will have a melt down ? And half of the teachers slag off the Senior leaderships team anyways
