THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
I only started at Cowley in September 2023 but I already hate it. Since I started I have had severe depression and alot of the time I feel very down and I don't want or do anything and the teachers never help me they just shout at me and give me detentions wich make it worse. All of the teacher are really strict and I hate it so much. As well thanks to Cowley I have had to go to therapy as my mental health was so bad. I already had bad mental health but Cowley just mad it 10 times worse. Since I started I have been self harming and I have attempted multiple times. I have also been bullied alot and the school has done nothing about it. I can't wait to leave this hell. If u are thinking of comming here PLEASE DONT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT
i wouldnt advise going to cowley
bad school, dont come here or send ur children. the teachers dont do anything about bullying or lost items and generally just dont care about students. food is usually undercooked and never has enough to feed the entire school
Disgusting school
This is the worst school ever. Please don’t send your children here. My oldest went to this school and was bullied so bad she started city herself, she had things stolen from her, and it got so bad that in year 10 she refused to go to school anymore. This September my youngest started she said fifers bad with anxiety, and she has been bullied, called so many horrible names, shoved, pushed over repeatedly, hit in the stomach by a boy, and other boys keep asking her if she wants to fight. She sees kids every single day getting beaten up on the playground. She is a nervous wreck now, it’s making her physically ill going to this school. I think before the end of the year I will be pulling her out and homeschooling her, only problem is I’ve no idea how I’m going to do that. I don’t want her education to suffer but her health and well-being is more important
WORST SCHOOL EVER!!!
I’m still at Cowley now. I’m struggling. And hope I never have to go their again . The teachers are the most ignorant most disgusting people I’ve ever met. Students (including me) get moaned at and screemed at at 8 in the morning over skirts, makeup, jewellery and others. The staff are so ignorant and have no reason to moan to u about being disrespectful when they need to have a good look at themselves. Some shit went on and the school made it out I was going insane by not taking enough notice and not helping with my anxiety. I’ve been on the waiting list for autism and adhd for a year and they told me tha they can’t give me support until I’ve been dignosed they are giving the name round I’m just a “bad child” when I can’t help all of the things I do. Don’t send ur children here the school deserves to be gone there all a disgraceful waste!!!
Good education but...
For one the uniform rule is shocking, we are not allowed to walk round with blazers off, skirt has to be at knee length. Toilet issue is horrible, they do not let you go to the toilet until half hour through the lesson because they are 'being cleaned' when you ask they say no, even it it an emergency, they do not let you fill up your water bottle during lesson in the heat. One of girls in my class have said she has been 'touched' by one of the male teachers. They give detentions out for no reason at all. (E.g. not getting a good enough score on a test) They say they don't have enough money for recouces for learning, but both music rooms have around 18 APPLE computers, some of the computing rooms have just got all new computers, they have around 6 trolleys for touch screen, foldable laptops, but they 'cant afford' recourses🤨if you are late to lesson by one minute, they send you to IE. Is slightly sexist. It is good for education but the environment is not good to be in.

Terrible school. Turn a blind eye on bullying and even support the bully’s. Teachers attitude to students is shocking. The staff that are quite high up and are SLT patronise the students instead of speaking to them normally. They don’t care about your education or wellbeing just that they get £35 a day from the council for you attending. Do not send your child here and don’t listen to the reviews. Worst years of my life here.

Terrible school!! Does absolutely nothing about bullying, if not supports the bully’s. It’s well known for bullying but claims it’s “anti bullying”. Head teacher is way too strict and the teachers behaviour and attitude to the students is absolutely disgusting. There is no support for children with anxiety or mental health, School food is always raw and the rules are just unfair.

WORST SCHOOL
Cowley international college is the worst school to exist, I have seen a decline in my childrens mental health and behaviour since sending them here. My son has started swearing much more than usual and is very abusive towards me and his sister. My daughter is refusing to speak to people and often refuses to go to school with the horrible conditions within. I originally heard great things about this school but I am very disappointed.

I would heavily not recommend sending your child here, it is awful. the teachers ignored me and my friends when we were in need of help mentally and continued to act like they were the best school in the UK using fake statistics and information. Me and my friends were brainwashed since year 7 to think that this school provided the most opportunities and that bullying does not go on here but that’s the biggest fucking lie. The amount of rules in this school is actually unholy and everytime you didn’t comply, they’d gas light you into thinking you are a shit person and that you should consider the teachers home lives, when they have no problem being rude to you, completely disregarding your troubles at home. I have never wanted a place to burn more, the teachers are so greedy and rude, i have been called all sorts of names by the staff, even the janitors who have no position to even be chatting shit. I have witnessed many different teachers screaming down year 7s throats and telling 11 year olds to pull their skirts down because it’s distracting and inappropriate. This comes from a 50 year old married man with children, who shouted at a child saying that he makes ‘£90000 and that is more than they will ever make in their entire life’. Me and my friends reported a rape threat by a student using their website safe guarding and 1 week later, still heard nothing and then went into form and the assembly had stated that they check this inbox 24/7 and will always reply. still waiting on their reply to this day and this was posted in year 10 when i was 15, now i am 17 and suicidal. Thank you cowley for bringing good fortune. As you can tell i can go on forever so i will refrain from continued for now. Till next time. goodbye.
I’m 17 and traumatised
It’s feb 2023 I left in June and I’m still in counselling because of the emotional manipulation and verbal abuse I faced from staff members during my time at cowley. Wouldn’t even give them 1 star like Christ I’ve never seen more power hungry adults in my life who get off on hurting children😭 I suffer from depression and being a mentally ill student with those incompetent staff members makes you feel like you’re a burden or not worth anything it’s disgusting.

Kept personally driving me to my mums work place just because I was upset, the reason I was upset is because they were trapping me in a room and saying they'll call an ambulance. I'm autistic.
