old student here right now, and I’m here to complain about how bullying is handled in this school. in all of my years including reception i was heavily bullied and every time ive complained to the teachers, nothing has been changed. At that time, we had a completely different headteacher which then sooner was changed into simone fellows which was a way more respectful teacher. But when you’d refuse to do something she’d purposely make you feel bad in a way where you’d have to do it, and she may not feel that she’s doing that. bullying still continued and continued and the only thing that changed was my seat, nothing else. Could say the same thing about the other teachers. behaviour here is also pretty crappy, and there is continuous racist jokes that aren’t being currently handled. If you want your child to go to a bullying-free environment, pick other schools such as ibstock junior school or others. Thanks for reading!
