It is unbelievable that this woman was ever able to become a headteacher, given how horrid she was to children at one of her previous schools. I cannot comment on this school, but I can certainly comment on her.

This woman belittled, bullied and embarrassed me. She was once my teacher, and the way she treated me was awful. Although I was not diagnosed at the time, I clearly struggled with things that other children seemed to find much easier. I was later diagnosed with dyslexia and autism, but instead of recognising that I needed support, she made no effort to help me. Instead, she chose to mock me in front of other pupils and members of staff. Even when it came to the school play, she could not bring herself to give me a compliment. When another member of staff said I had done well, she immediately responded by saying that I needed to learn my lines and that I was not very good.

I also struggled significantly with maths. When my mother asked for support, she was dismissive and rude, claiming that I simply could not be bothered. She even told my mother that I had apparently been doing trigonometry since I was three years old. She regularly commented on how slow I was and, after I completed a writing speed test, I later found out that she had told another member of staff that I was the worst she had ever had. I remember one occasion when we were doing origami and she threw mine in the bin because I had not done it correctly.

Whenever I was ill, she would accuse me of faking it. To this day, I do not know why she had such a problem with nine year old me. Threatening me with a behaviour report because I did not understand things was ridiculous. Maybe she could have tried supporting me and doing her job properly, but apparently that was too much to ask.

She would also bring nursery children into our classroom when they had apparently been naughty and shout at them until they cried. It was so upsetting to watch.

She constantly used to brag about having a convertible car and her brand new iPhone. Bearing in mind that we were primary school children, it was strange that she felt the need to boast about these things, but she clearly loved talking about herself.

There were many more incidents that I have pushed to the back of my mind over the years. The Department for Education was also contacted regarding concerns about her behaviour at the time.

I now have two degrees and have achieved a great deal. It is amazing what can happen when you no longer have someone constantly putting you down and undermining your confidence.

I had not thought about this dreadful woman for years, but after discovering that she went on to become a headteacher, I was genuinely appalled.

But remember what they say about karma.

This school has significantly declined in recent years. Since the appointment of a new Headteacher, there has been a substantial staff turnover, with many experienced teachers leaving within a short period. While the current teaching staff appears to be enthusiastic, their relative lack of experience is noticeable, particularly in classroom management and the provision of adequate support for students with diverse learning needs. Our experience with the school's ability to support neurodiverse children has been especially concerning.

Wind the clock back a few years and this was a great school. However to save cost they appointed a head snake to remove all the experienced teachers and employ kids. Result: not good.

This school has completely failed my disabled daughter. She has been there for nearly a year, not 1 referral has been made for behaviour or for a EHCP. The new head of school has been extremely unprofessional and rude. Refusing to write me the next steps down for my child. Refusing to give me any answers as to why these referrals haven't been made. Stay well away from this school if you need any support for a disabled child!

Great school. They turn learning fun, they treat everyone equal and as well as being anti-racist, they are also an anti-bullying school.
