Sexism amongst staff and leadership, disability discrimination
Boys club with PE and some of SLT, including SLT. The Head bad-mouths individual members of staff at the pub on holiday break-up and bad-mouths staff as a collective at INSET e.g. saying Jew cutlery can help him track staff who takes it. Why not put a sign up? News to all staff and an unveiled insult. Personal agendas dominate decisions rather than professionalism and diversity doesn’t exist. If you want a rounded education for your child, choose one that’s less dominated by an all-white boys’ club. Discrimination against disabled staff has also been experienced, particularly mental disabilities, where the disability is blamed on the staff member and opportunities are created to remove that member of staff, and even to continue such through references, until a different leadership team threatened to get the local authority involved. Not a great model for a micro-community.

This school is amazing .Ive had four children go through and the opportunities they’ve been given have been outstanding . The pastoral care is brilliant and there peer groups supportive and kind . Sport is great and so many free after school clubs and great sports hub . Art, drama and music are exceptional . I cannot recommend highly enough . Two of my children gone on to get 2::1 degrees at prestigious universities . Technical and apprenticeships for the other two and very successful . Lots of excellent school trips -Dof E and volunteering opportunities . Take up everything the school offers . Outstanding teaching and leadership .

I was here ages ago left in 2020. I was SA, bullied and the teachers don't care what happens. People smoke weed and drink then we get into trouble for sticking up for ourselves. If I have a child in future no way I'm going here.

This school has fought amongst strikes from teachers and attempts at protests whilst still remaining calm and trying to keep everyone learning the year sevens are gradually becoming part of the school and that is something that they do so well at some children are bullied however they get ten complaints about it from students every day that are fine so they try to see before they judge and bullying is not just the school it's the students and every child has been able to persevere through and get into an eveptional university

i cant stress how bad this school is.Firstly the teachers will not listen to kids no matter what.There a few good ones who listen and care for students but a lot dont.A lot of favouritism goes on and nothing ever gets sorted.A lot of teachers arent ever even in leaving substitutes-i dont mind this but the thing is a lot of these are rude and just vile.One of them has said racist comments and is still teaching.The pastrol support never gets anything done properly and the food is a joke.Dont send your child here unless you want them coming out drained every day.

My son attended this school from 2015 20 to 2020. In his time there he learnt that he was a vandal and an absconder. He flicked glue at a wall and spent an assembly in a toilet. Hardly fitting the label of vandal and truant. The staff went out of their way to label him as a problem child. The emotional effects on any parent are understandable given the way they went out of their way to label our family as poor parents. I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. In the meantime my son is doing well despite his time in this "educational" establishment
Disgraceful head teaching
The headteacher is vindictive he picks on the children handing out suspensions as if they are free food because he is embarrassed he can’t control the school he takes it out on certain children picking them out and is all round a shamble he should be resigned as headteacher should of never been allowed to run the school and is shocking as man

I have just left esher and i could not tell you how bad my experience was, the school itself has been alright but the majority of teachers and about 80% of pupils are disgusting. the attitude displayed by students is awful, at just as young as 12 years old they are beginning to do drugs, drink, bully and become an intimidation. the teachers are mostly nice just useless, they brush any issues away and it is clear the school focusses on their reputation and not the wellbeing of the attendees, would not recommend. was an amazing school when i joined but i’ve left it and it’s a mess. i would consider going elsewhere.

as a student with mental and physical disability’s i rlly respect a few teachers who actually cared. apart from those few, the teachers are horrible. they only care about grades and work, i was told to kill myself at home so the school “ didn’t have to to deal with the paper work “. that quote is from the HEAD of mental well-being for esher.

Worst School Ever to exist.
Honestly, Going to this School was one of the Worst experiences i’ve ever had to endure. Ill enlighten a few issues.
Students -
Kids at this school honestly have no care or respect for authority or anybody else around them and for good reason. People at this school feel constantly like they are under attack and have to defend them selves by feeling nothing and pointing out flaws in everyone else, If your child isn’t a bully when they go in, I assure you, Once they come out they will be completely different.
During my time at this School i dealt with extreme levels of Bullying that wasn’t resolved in anyway, I have always struggled with School and paired with the Bullying i received during my time at the school made me want to spend as little time as possible within the grounds leading to me skipping lessons, stopping social interactions in public and minimising contact with others who i did not consider an ally or friend, I had to isolate myself to stay safe.
To say the least, My time at this school has done nothing for me except cause a Deep fear of others within myself, I’m now a paranoid shut in who believes that whenever i get close to someone they will attack me. I no longer trust people because of the kids at this school.
And to be honest with you, These kids don’t need to be blamed for it - It leads me onto my second point.

The Staff at this school are Absolutely revolting to converse with, On many occasions I've personally been blamed for things such as Smoking and Drinking on school property without any proof, I’ve been repeatedly taken out of class due to the kids who use to bully me reporting me for having Weapons when i didn’t, And the Teachers at this school quite frankly are like the kids in the fact they have no manners at all, They treat kids like they are stupid and if you get something wrong in class especially within your later years it isn’t supportive, Its negative, Making you feel lesser than others and generally making you feel stupid, This causes a significant decline in many students as they just don’t see a point to learning when all that happens if they ask for help or need it is they get abuse.
The Teachers again like the kids pick on kids they dislike and often gossip and try to be mates with the Bullies of the class, Not really taking a stance against the fact they bully but more like they condone it. Its sickening. Only teacher thats ever done something was Miss Tysoe, But even then she promises more than what she can keep, Thats another thing - This school may promise to deal with Bullying, Homophobia, Racism, But they honestly don’t care. Smoking? Oh well, Don’t let us catch you again. If your kid is caught bullying the teachers are more likely to be more lenient with you then other kids which makes no sense. They are just making the bullies the kings of the school and giving them a false ego boost and telling them that putting themselves above other human beings is fine.
Cleanliness and Morale -
During my time at this School i have seen a lot of Sickening sights but firstly i will mention the general cleanliness of the school, People at this school don’t care about the grounds, If they did, There would not be so much litter on the ground, Whenever i would go in i would see Half eaten Baguettes still filled with festering cheese sometimes from weeks ago sitting on the ground, burger buns and actual burgers, Chicken wings, Chips and all sorts of foods and drinks bottles lining the floor, I’ve even seen discarded cigarettes and other contraband laying there on the floor, the cleanings Staff are all foreign and as much as i respect foreign workers do not speak a hint of english and don’t clean at all. They occasionally wipe down a surface in the Canteen but they often leave mess and clutter all over the grounds. This is because of the Staff once again making the aura of the school less as people don’t want to be there and have no pride in it, i mean, Why care about the grounds if all that happens when you go there is you get abuse from everybody and no help? I’d litter As well.
The Toilets often are the smoking grounds and drinking grounds of School At least in the boys toilets, Often enough you find more food and litter on the grounds mixed with piles of stagnant piss puddles and even human excrement on the ground, The bullies often use it as their base, What can you expect from human rats? And often enough the toilets have no soap, Water doesn’t run, Toilets are broken and the locks don’t work meaning germs are all over the place.
Thats the same with the whole school - Its disgusting and no wonder theres such a high degree if absenteeism and sickness the place is a Goddamn trench of filth, It doesn’t surprise me how many people have had covid because the place just isn’t clean and nobody cares due to incompetent and lazy cleaning staff and teachers that don’t encourage a positive community.

Having conversed in meetings twice with *** ********** who is an appallingly incompetent Head teacher he honestly doesn’t hide the fact that he doesn’t give a rats ass about the school and has let it go down the shitter whilst he would rather spend all day at home whilst kids suffer at his horrible institution, And with SENCO, I’ve never met one Employee of the team, And having conversed with**** *********** on a number of occasions i can tell you from the bottom of my life she has no idea what she is doing. And they need to hire somebody more competent to run the school as she is more of a headmistress then the headmaster.
Honestly - I hope to sweet god you don’t send your child here, Because everyday they will tell you how crap it is and how bad the day was day by day as this school depresses them minute by minute, And either turns them into a Bully who hurts others for their own pleasure, a Slut who’s been taught by a Cult of personality where the Bullies basically worship the Sluts, Or a Good kid who’s been put down by so many and no longer care because they’ve lost the will.
Please, Do me a service, And don’t send your child here.

Bad school
School is awful would not recommend. They do not care about bullying and do nothing to help. Had to call the police more than once as one child in particular and his minions have isolated and bullied my child on several occasions. The children in question were sent home for a few days to play on computers as punishment and they batted police involvement away. They took great pleasure in telling me ”the police won’t care so no point involving them”. I have a whole photo folder full of injuries he’s sustained whilst there as well as countless trips to a&e.

Bullying. Teachers are unable to control or deal with the bullying in the school. When you raise issues with them, they are full of waffle and do not deal with the issues. They do give lots of promises though
Children taking knives to school. I know of a year 8 and year 7 pupil that have been stopped with knives in school in the past 2 months. Clearly a big issue for them that they cant control
Teachers Unhelpful. Teachers have A+ in brushing issues with your children under the table to cover them up. They are very keen to reverse any issues onto your child to get the school out of any responsibility
Children’s Health. Knowing my son had issues with Epilepsy that gets triggered when he is worried they interviewed him with the police after he was attached by another pupil. They did not speak to us about it or offer him any support. My son had 2 epileptic fits that evening and was in hospital all weekend because of it.
I would seriously consider other school in the area before sending your child to Esher. They will not get the support they deserve.

a good friend of mine was sexually assaulted in the school by 2 fellow pupils. not only did the school know about it but they had put her into a classroom with him even though the police had been involved and everything. she has since been kicked out of the school because the school stated that they weren’t equipped to deal with her mental health problems. terrible school would not recommend.

Brilliant School, Bad Students.
Esher High is an amazing Secondary School with some of the best grades in the country for GCSE's. The facilities are great, food is decent, but the only issue is the students. There's a hell of a lot of druggies. However as long as you don't mix with them then life at Esher High is better than your average secondary school.
