I am now in my first year of uni and left 2022 and i have a sister in year 10. I will admit when i was there some teachers still cared about you but others mainly in a management position only cares about looks and grades. Also for the students wondering why we dont have skirts as i was in year 7 when the idea was suggested for the following year, it’s because they used to her peeping tom reports. Then why punish us the girls when there are clearly issues with other people in the school that need to be investigated also in 2021-22 a they where forced to fire a teacher who was caught message a girl in my year (i was in year 10) and he was only banned from teaching for 2 years and in report the school backed him up making him sound wonderful when hes not when hes messaging minors. Idc if your just being friends its still weird and wrong. Finally some of the staff didnt make me feel seen i help with a show but could only do one night (i was helping out behind the scenes) as i had tutoring for my GCSEs as i was just starting year 11 and the show was in nov. When i helpped with the second show as it was closing night as we only did two, people where being given flowers and thank yous included all the year 11s for taking the time to show up this whole process and given flowers but me. I don’t care about the flowers i just wanted to be seen and say thank you for my efforts because even though i didnt do one show i help with everything else. This teacher didnt even like the students that did behind the scenes and also tried to blame us so she dod t have to blame her cast even if it was there fault. If your are a parent dont send your child here as they will not be seen. They will be used to make the staff and facilities look good and they dont deal with bullying well when i was there my mum had to threaten she will go to a girls mum to talk about what was going on and how they girl was bullying me if the school didn’t do anything. Funny how all of a sudden they switched up and said they could handle it then

Terrible, AVOID this school took out child out in year 9 as the school was getting worse and incompetent in everything policies are flawed and no control in classes! Just to list a few!

This school has been absolutely awful for my daughter and have had my wife and daughter in tears on many occasions due to their lack of support and care.

Me and my wife are going through the process of getting my daughter diagnosed with ADHD and autism, going down all the correct avenues with little support from the school, unfortunately we can not afford to pay for are daughter to be diagnosed properly, the school have failed on their behalf and the behaviour of them towards this has been awful, they don't not listen to my daughter's needs, they have action plans in place but have never followed up on them, instead of supporting my daughter they just want to pass her on to bridgemary school instead, considering we live in Fareham I really don't know how this is good option for my daughter and have not considered the travel for a 14 year with potential ADHD and autism to travel all they way to bridgemary from Fareham, I feel Fareham academy have completely failed with duty of care and have impacted my daughter for the rest of her life. The stress this school has put on my family is nothing short of a disgrace.

it is a good school but I have had a lot of bullying and it take abit long to get it sorted but most of the staff are nice they are just some what I don't get on with but overall it is a good school because we have so much support staff who we can go to what is very useful for me and it will be useful for a lot of people

Honestly this school is so bad to a point where people are wishing for it to burn down. The teachers are nice for the first 2 weeks of year 7 then all they care about is your uniform. They ban skirts for no reason it was so unnecessary, Uniform rules are even stricter for girls. Girls aren't allowed to wear skirts, jewelery, make up. Even on non-uniform days they get dress codeded for wearing normal clothes. The school always says "Express yourselves" but they don't allow us to, we can't dye our hair, we cant even use vaseline. The school building itself looks like its been through: 5 world wars, 2 tornadoes, 9 tsunamis and 4 terrorist attacks. The toilets smell like a cow shed and theres so much trash it looks like the local recycling centre. The classrooms look like they haven't been cleaned since the 1800's and smell like sweat. The carpets have bugs. Also If your feeling really ill, they will never actually let you go home, its always "drink water" or something along those lines, One time my friends appendix bursted and they told her to stop trying to skip pe and then she spent 6 months in the hospital (Still hasn't recovered, its been 5 1/2 months). The teachers are also quite racist and homophobic. Anyway, I have nothing against the school work but the teachers are really rude, "your not putting enough effort thats a detention" well maybe explain it better instead of putting on a 40 minute video on volume 3, with the camera quality of a vacuum cleaner. The school has no diversity, they want everyone to look and act the same. All the same hair, uniforms, a teacher once told me to try speak with a British accent since im a foreigner.

Its An Alright School Got Bullied No Action Done By The Staff And A Kid Who Bugs Me His Name Is sonny Patterson Other Than That Its An Alright Place 7.5/10

Honestly, wish I didn't go. Staff say they will help sort out problems but they never really do, you get told to fill out a form and then it all just gets brushed under the carpet. Most of the teachers are nice but at the same time get really strict with jewellery and makeup, the teachers are also there to set an example so why shouldn't they follow the no makeup and no jewellery rule? It's not impacting our ability to learn, it's a way of expressing ourselves, something that we are highly encouraged to do in our school, yet they ban anything and everything that we use to express ourselves, make it make sense. Do you want us to express ourselves or look and act like programmed robots? In the working world no one is dressed the same, people's ability to work is not Interrupted by makeup, school is supposed to help us prepare ourselves for the future and the working world, not teach us the opposite of what it is. Make it make sense.

anyway give the gays what they want- rings, eyeliner, jewellery, doc martins, converse, messy uniform, dyed hair. also if you disagree you’re actually homophobic. like miss bungay. #missbungayisaraginghomophobe #speakthetruth
